Tree trimming, tree removal, stump removal, line clearing, and complete tree service requires a knowledgeable, licensed, bonded, and insured arborist, like Tom Day Tree Service. Protecting your trees and your property is our main concern. Proper tree maintenance includes appropriate nourishment, and protection from disease and insect infestations.
Improper pruning techniques can severely damage trees, leaving them vulnerable to weaknesses, which in turn can lead to an unsafe environment for property and people. Trees should be inspected, pruned, and nourished regularly.

The fact that Chino was once a flourishing agricultural community is referenced in its city seal, which features an overflowing cornucopia. The area was particularly famous for its dairy products and orchards, though a wealth of other crops including "Chino corn" were also grown. Today, trees in Chino are more likely to be decorative than agricultural, but they still need professional care and attention.
The affluent Los Angeles suburb of Chino Hills CA is consistently ranked as one of the best places to live by Money magazine. It's a fair assumption that the city's village-style neighborhoods have something to do with this. Homes in Chino Hills tend to be arranged in small clusters, within walking distance of parks and carefully placed shopping centers.
When living in a city that has won the National Arbor Association's "Tree City USA" award every year for over two decades and counting, you probably feel like you have a lot to live up to, tree-wise. Not only does Claremont have tons of trees, it also has some of the last healthy American Elms in the country, the rest of them having been killed off by Dutch Elm disease.
Covina's slogan, "One mile square and all there!" comes from the early 1900s, when the physically tiny city nonetheless achieved big things, such as becoming the third largest producer of oranges in the world. Today, most of Covina is residential, but people still enjoy referencing their citrus-growing heritage with fruit trees in their yards.
Up until WWII, the foothills community of La Verne was a center of the citrus industry, with plenty of commercial orange groves. Today, one of the last groves is preserved on the grounds of the Weber House, which showcases the city's history by serving as a working 1915 citrus ranch. As elsewhere in California, many residents also grow their own oranges on their property for personal consumption.

The man may do an adequate (though very expensive) job of tree trimming, but his manners are incredibly rude.
I asked fifteen years ago for his estimate to thin our large pine trees. He quoted a number much higher than the firm we later decided to use, and have used since. He then berated me for having a gate which was too narrow to accommodate his equipment (somehow our guy has managed just fine with it?) And then, unprovoked, I got a lecture on politics.
The Jan 21st windstorm brought down both of our trees and unfortunately, they also damaged our neighbor's property. Today I glanced

If you are looking for a really big job, these guys have the big equipment for it. They send a big team and it's done really quickly and efficiently. However, cutting down a 100 year old walnut and not having the yard look like a herd of elephants passed through is probably an unreasonable expectation.

We have been using Tom Day Tree Service for many years and have been pleased every time. Yesterday, they trimmed multiple large trees on three sides of my property and paid close attention to my special requests. We use Tom Day for our trees because they show up when they say they will, they are knowledgeable, their crews are professional and courteous, they carry insurance and they clean my yard (better than I do) before they leave. I confidently recommended them to my friends.

I'm very glad I chose Tom Day's Tree Service. I needed 3 trees removed from my property in Upland. I called Tom and got a same-day call back. He gave me a reasonable estimate and a few days later, his crew did the job. The work was quick, professional and thorough. 5 Stars!

We were lucky enough to learn that Tom Day Tree Service would put us (or you) on a list for a FREE 10 yard load of wood chips, if you can use a load that isn't perfect chips or free of some leaves and pine needles. He call us when our name made it to the top of the list, and within a day we had 10 yards of wood chips dropped in our driveway! Amazing! I'd say about 90% of that load was just great chips, and maybe a yard of it was leaves and needles that we put in our green was bins. But, it was all free! Thank you Tom Day Tree Service! You will get the call when we need our big Ash tree trimmed

Had him remove a tree years ago. Looked like it was never there. No growth or lumps in grass. Just moved and had him remove another tree and his crew was still professional and spot on. Another thing that sets him and his crew apart from others is that they will give you an honest opinion about a tree. They won’t cut it to make extra money. They recommend how to bring it back to life and which season is best to trim it. That kind of knowledge and honesty is greatly appreciated. They truly know what’s best for trees.

Tom and his crew removed a dear old fallen live oak tree quickly and professionally. They worked with us and our neighbors easily, giving us a quote within a couple of hours and completing the work in one day. We are grateful for their care and responsiveness.

On time and dependable with a knowledgeable foreman onsite. My 94 year old mom's 1/3 acre property in Upland was overgrown with trees and shrubs after her trusted gardener of 25 years retired. The family hired Tom Day Tree Service, and they trimmed trees/shrubs and cleared away major overgrowth areas. There was a ragged 30 year old palm that now looks like a showpiece palm tree in a magazine. Our family was very happy with the results and highly recommends Tom Day Tree Service.

I live in a community where most of the trees are maintained by the homeowners association. Tom Day's Tree Service is the company we use! Their guys are professional and quick. Our yard is looking better than ever. They bring their own removal equipment so there are no messy tree trimmings leftover. For our insurance the trees have to maintain a certain distance from the property and they made sure we passed all those restrictions without losing any trees! I cannot recommend them enough!

For anyone needing tree service done I highly recommend Tom Day tree service. Chuck came and gave us a reasonable estimate and a week later Chuck and the crew came out removed a tree in the backyard (before and after pictures), grinded up the stump, trimmed the tree in the front and cleaned up the mess all within 1 1/2 hours. I am so pleased with their work and at how quickly they got it all completed. Thank you Tom, Chuck and the crew for providing such excellent service!!

Tom's crew was out to our home to lace out and trim the two Eastern Redbuds in our front yard. The crew showed up early and went right to work. The guys did a great job and cleaned up thoroughly when they were done. I wish more of my neighbors would use a qualified tree service company like Tom Day rather than hiring fly-by-night tree hackers off the street.

Called Tom out to remove tree roots from 4 neighbors trees that grew into my yard. Cost was $500 and seemed reasonable. Crew came out and removed the roots from two of the trees and left without a word. Called Tom Day and asked if the other roots could be removed. He came out a week later and dug out several roots himself from remaining trees. He then left with out a word.
Considering the size of the Roots removed (I'm certain there are more left) and the fact I had to clean up after after them, and there was also no communication to us as to if the job was complete or not. I do not consider
