Services
We'll provide the staff and everything you need to throw the event of your dreams at the location of your choice. Full Service sample menus can be found on the website, but please keep in mind that we will customize your menu based on your likes, budget and the spirit of the season. You're only going to do this once, we've been doing it for 70 years!
French brie with apricot or raspberry preserves wrapped in crispy puff pastry served with toast rounds. Sweet & dill pickles, black and green olives, carrot and celery sticks, radishes, cherry & pepperoncini peppers. Fresh mozzarella, tomato, and fresh basil sliced and drizzled with aged balsamic vinegar and extra virgin olive oil.
Our Deli & Sandwich Shop offers a variety of Hot or Cold Sandwiches, Wraps, Panini, Fresh-Made Green Salads, Homemade Soups (made with real bone or vegetable broth) and more for lunch or dinner. Grilled Chicken, jalapeno cheese, crisp romaine lettuce, sliced tomato, onion with zesty chipotle mayo. Grilled Chicken, crisp romaine lettuce, garlic croutons, freshly grated Parmesan cheese, and creamy Caesar dressing.

This is a hidden gem. I drove past it the other day and decided to make the stop after work today. The ambiance is very relaxed and friendly. They have daily specials and soups of the day...some that look pretty savory, so I'll be trying those as soon as I can. You can park in a small lot next to the business, and they do sell a few things other than food inside too. I went with a chicken, bacon, and spinach panini, along with cream of broccoli soup and a ginger beer. It was great. The soup was phenomenal. If your in the mood for some delicious food, I definitely recommend this place. Looking forward

I called and ordered a salad to be ready by the time they open , I got there 25 minutes later and the salad was still not ready .I was offered no apology until I called Mark. There is a short lady I believe she must be related to Mark because she has been there a long time however she is rude,doesn't smile and acts like she hates her job ,.I have seen her interactions with the employees and she is just mean . I probably will not be patronizing this business again .

Everybody knows this place has the potato salad.
When you need potato salad for your barbecue, what you do is: get in your car, come here, get the potato salad.
Once you've arrived back home, pour the potato salad into a serving bowl, and one of life's problems will now be solved.

This review is of the Friday Grill. D'masti is a local restaurant and caterer on Western Av. From burgers to pasta D'masti's will feed You and send You on your way.
The ticket is the Friday Grill. Every Friday the Charcoal comes out and delicious chicken, pork chop, Italian sausage, and burgers arrive.
I'm the Yogi Bear of the Southwest burbs, I love a picnic. D'masti's puts on a good one.

Not just for catering! D'Masti's is an excellent lunch spot. I particularly enjoy their sandwiches and wraps, but their deli is very good as well. There are plenty of salads you can order by the pound as well as a host of meals to-go that you can take and heat up for dinner. There are also numerous baked goods to choose from-- anything from brownies to lemon bars to loaf cakes to rice crispie treats.
It's more of a grab & go type of place, so please note that there isn't any indoor seating, but they have a picnic table outside which comes in handy for the "Summer Grills

I've been going to D'Masti's for about 5 years. Definitely committed to them for life now! They recently catered our wedding. I cannot compliment them enough, and neither could our guests! We did not have to worry about a thing all night. Bar service was efficient, food was plentiful and diverse, late night snack was unique and delicious (mini beef sandwiches and a signature pizza.) All of it done with the kind of attention to detail that only a small business can provide. You will not be disappointed with this company. Great food, better people!

Kathy and the D'Masti crew are the Best of the Best! You can not go wrong using them. I use them for the south side St.Pat's party always.Most recently, I used Kathy and her staff for a Friendsgiving Party for 30. Kathy is very helpful and helped me put the finishing touches on my party. Everyone LOVED the food and selection! I kept getting thank yous and where did you get the food? It was outstanding!!

I recently hosted a bridal shower for my sister and we had the event catered by D'Masti. The food was excellent. We ordered a bunch of small sandwiches and appetizers. Everything was fantastic. We also hired someone to help out with the event and serve the food. Her name was Mary Cuttingham and she was excellent. She said that when you cater with D'Masti you can ask for her by name. She was so professional and helpful.

I've never used the catering service, but i've gotten food to go twice now, the first time i got the destroyer sub, which was really good, and had a lot of meat, and then the 2nd time i got the italian sausage and beef combo sandwich, with provolone on top, it was real big and good, i also got the potato salad, which was all right, not great, and 2 of their cookies which were also really good, reasonable prices too, and just a different sandwich option in the beverly morgan park area other than mr sub, which is definitely not as good as this, id def love to try some of their other sandwiches

D'Masti Catering ROCKS! Kathy helped to coordinate and execute my sister's backyard wedding. Her professionalism, knowledge, and friendly service were beyond our expectations!
The food was AMAZING, arrived on-time as promised and did not disappoint! She even had gluten-free options which were fantastic!

One of my favorite hidden sandwich shops on the south side of chicago. While there isn't seating here, it's a great place for a quality sandwich or salad, and great soups. They also sell specialty items like dips, cooking sauces, etc. my favorite sandwich is the turkey with cranberry sauce, it's like having a mini thanksgiving dinner leftover. Also their cream of chicken and wild rice is amazing and they sell it by the container as well as by bowl.
This place also offers catering for any event and they BBQ on the weekends during the summer. A must go to if you're in the area

D'Masti's catered my wedding a few weeks ago and I am beyond pleased with the service and food that was provided. The food was amazing and everyone at the wedding made a comment to me about how great the food was. The servers were very polite and everything went smoothly. Dan Mast is a joy to work with and stayed almost the entire wedding to oversee everything. I truly do not have a single complaint. They were awesome as was their food.

Someone asked me how my Yelping was going and added "you should try D'Masti in Blue Island." It's one of those places that's a gem and you probably will never hear of it unless someone tells you about. If you came across it on Yelp you would skip over it thinking it was just a caterer.
