Matt and Betty Cain have over 14 years' experience owning and managing assisted living facilities in Redding, California. For the past 11 years, they were owners/operators of Lake Redding Manor Assisted Living, a six-bed facility. Matt's grandparents, Dewey, and Nonie Cain manage the kitchen at Serenity Gardens.
Serenity Gardens is devoted to meeting the unique needs of each of our residents. Our assisted living community is designed to help residents enjoy a full life through a variety of living options, amenities, assistance, services, dining choices, social activities, and personalized elderly care. We also offer memory care to our residents with Alzheimer disease and dementia.
Serenity Garden's philosophy of care is especially evident in the design of the building and grounds. Aging presents an ever-changing set of unique challenges and maintaining mobility is a high priority. Indoors and out, Serenity Gardens goes far beyond ADA requirements, featuring barrier-free, enhanced mobility.

Employees rarely show up on time, theres no consequences for showing up over 20 min late like any other place, like people want to be there an extra hour after their shift ends? Theres also an employee that treats residents very rudely and they gave them a gift card for employee appreciation, I'll never understand that, I've known a couple people that work there and I greatly feel bad for the residents,..facts

My spouse is blessed with Bety and Matt's wonderful staff. He now feels like it is his second home. Patients have music, puzzles, mobility assistance on a one on one basis. Love the food...appealing, variety, and healthy snacks. The staff communicates very well with family members and make us feel part of our loved ones goal to get better. THANK You and your wonderful care and caring. We are blessed to have this great family to take care of our families needs.

Serenity Gardens is a quiet, older facility with an amazing view of the mountain range and a secured, safe perimeter. the owners have been great at accommodatig the needs of our family in their community. the caregivers are experienced and show so much love, welcoming each new resident into the facility as if they were family. they may not be a new facility with all the extra add ons but they make sure people are well kept, clean, fed, loved, and that the community recieves extra activities to engage their mind and body. they do so much that I cannot list them all. check out their Facebook page
