We entrusted Karen Colby with the sale of our family home of 50 years in Lynnfield. Karen could not have been more perfect. She understood the emotional nature of the sale. She really understands the market so guided us appropriately with pricing, timing, staging etc. Since we are out of town she personally handled so many details in getting the home ready and then readying the property for final sale after inspection. This review is long overdue as our transaction completed in October 2020. Karen was the buyer's agent in our FSBO. This was such a weird time to sell a property because of COVID and we were in another state selling a property in MA for sale by owner. Many, many complexities and Karen was the consummate professional through the entire process. I first had the pleasure of working with Karen Colby, of Colby Properties, in 2001. At that time, I was purchasing my first home. Post home inspection, my team at Colby Properties renegotiated and saved me an additional 3% off the agreed upon price, which allowed me to make improvements to my home.
