Although the people were nice and apologetic, they were completely overwhelmed and not able to handle the volume of work they committed to, which meant everything was delayed, entered wrong, etc. We had to reach out many times, leave many message that went unreturned and hand hold them through our closing process. What should have been an exciting time, was overly stressful due to lack of communication and excuses of being too busy. If you cannot handle the workload appropriately for each client, you should not agree to take them on. A cash offer house closing should not be this difficult.

Absolutely NOT recommended!!!! they don't read their emails, can't get loan closing packets done with ANY efficiency, and constantly make excuses for not getting things done in a timely fashion. have been waiting almost 48 hours to get our money from them - and it's almost the weekend!!! NEVER RECOMMENDED!!

I honest to god have never seen a more incompetent bunch of individuals assembled under one roof. Our processor was “new” and put the wrong tax info in the wrong files, never responded to our loan officer or the other title company for literally weeks on end. Everyone else did their job for them in 30 mins while they couldn’t mange to make it… happen in nearly a month. They then botched the closing bc our new processor failed to check her emails. (Which explains how she never managed to get back to the 300 people trying to contact her). Nobody bothered to follow up on her

I have now used hutchens law firm in Hampstead for two separate cash closings (us being the buyers in both) and can say without guilt, that their communication is terrible and don’t waste your time here.
If you’re looking for something to get done quickly, efficiently, and with clear communication, this is not the place to turn to.

Making it known here and Sending a complaint about the practices of a lawyer at this firm and their staff for defending a company that is unlawfully conducting business is NC posing as a bank. I was ignored when I told Hutchens Law Firm in February of 2020 via email to their main email about fraud being committed by US REO FUND X LLC. Yet they… still assigned a lawyer to the case who did not properly alert me to a hearing online and never sent me details of my obligation to appear to a correct address and obtained a default judgment against me. Used this company as suggested by our realtor company. Wish I could give 1 star. Bought my first house and day of closing we were told we would be able to get keys by 2:30pm. That time came and went. Called the mortgage company who said they hadn’t received any paperwork concerning our closing from the attorney office. After finding out the county deed office closes at 4:30pm. We called several times to the attorney only for them to blame the mortgage company. Buying a piece of land now and I called and was told I would receive a call back before end of day to get info. Well at the end of day I gave a call back since I hadn’t heard from them. Front staff was very rude and acted like I was a bothering them. She said i would get a call back this morning...Still haven’t heard back for them to even take my info. My husband and I live in California, and was lucky to have Hutchinson Law Firm handle all our paperwork for the home we purchased in Supply. These folks are wonderful to work with. I have used them for my original mortgage closing and also a refinance closing. Their team is always very organized and professional.
