Horrible experience! Dropped all of our info off with them the first week of July for a simple land sale and have gotten them the paperwork they have asked for and was set to close on Aug 16th Now today I am told it will take another 6 weeks because they have not even started the actual paperwork. Nobody communicated with us at all, they didn't tell us they needed anything else from us until today when Jim Prevatte himself finally returned my call he was rude and dismissive. Needless to say I took all of our paperwork back and will be using a different lawyer and will NEVER refer anybody there

Critical: Professionalism, Quality, Responsiveness, Value
My partner and I went to this place to have a living will drawn up first of all I could see that Mr Hardin wanted to act like he was surfing a wave of a swagger tsunami. He treated my partner and I like we were third rate human beings. I will never use this place or recommend it to my worst enemy.

We have used this office for five Closings. From land purchase, to a new cottage purchase, to a construction loan Closing and it's conversion Closing to using them for our seller part of Closing on our custom beach house .
Even when our buyer changed attorneys at the last minute from OKI on a holiday WE to one on Mooresville, James Prevatte office, Beverly and especially Ginny made it all happen! They went to the buyer original Closing attorney on the island, got all our paperwork that they had sent their already. They overnighted it all to the new attorney. This was on a Thursday night.
