To continually develop a better model of assisted living that enriches lives one SMALL community at a time. It takes a village. Does that phrase ring a bell? We can all relate to the sense of relief that comes when our "village" of friends and family steps in to help. Life comes full-circle and as we get older, we still need the support of a village with aging loved ones.
Our Caregivers provide 24/7 care, with generally a 4:1 resident-to-caregiver ratio during the day. They do an excellent job of preserving independence yet recognizing when they need to be the eyes, ears and hands for our residents.
Our team benefits from contributions made by families to the Sunshine Program, which was established by one of our families in memory of their mother and is a great way to provide extra training for our team members to further enhance the quality of care that we provide to residents.Long-term care ombudsmen are advocates for resident rights.

Living in a small assisted living community ensures more personalized care and provides a comfortable, familiar home atmosphere. Many of our residents come from larger communities because we have a high caregiver to Resident ratio and Residents in turn receive more care and attention. We believe knowing rates upfront is important in your decision making process.

I have witnessed the exceptional care provided at Village Care over many years. I have seen first-hand how thoughtful and experienced caregivers work diligently to provide a loving and comfortable environment. The facility is well managed and of high quality. My mother lived at Village Care Homes-Eldridge for a year. She had a wonderful year of caring, professional care. The staff are good, hard-working kind people. During the COVID-19 pandemic they took especially good care of everyone. Frequent e-mails were sent with up-to-date information and guidance regarding all COVID matters. To my knowledge, as of today, November 3, 2020, there have not been any cases at any of their facilities. They kept me well informed regarding my Mother's activities and her health. They were and are still being very attentive to me since my Mother's unexpected death. I

My mother lived at this home for about two years until her passing. The residence is very comfortable and the staff very accommodating. Even during the issues of COVID, they worked to make visits possible under very safe and controlled settings. As my mother approached her time of passing, they worked with the family to allow us opportunities to visit mom. I can highly recommend Village Care Homes on N. Eldridge Pkwy.
