Oconee Area Home Care's professional staff is available on a 24-hour a day, 7 day a week basis to serve the needs of our clients. Oconee Area Home Care has been in business since 1998. Our Agency is licensed by the Georgia Department of Human Resources as a "Private Home Care Provider". We provide home care services in the comfort of your home, as well as in the nursing home or hospital.
Our carefully screened and trained staff are available to serve you on a hourly, daily or weekly basis. The services offered by Oconee Area Home Care have been designed to provide our clients with the type of help to support independent living at home. All employees are fully insured and bonded, participate in monthly inservice training and are CPR/1st Aid certified.

Services
Oconee Area Home Care's professional staff is available on a 24-hour a day, 7 day a week basis to serve the needs of our clients. Requests for services may be made by the potential client or family member, or by a Case Manager or Physician. Upon receipt of the referral a Registered Nurse will call the client to discuss their specific needs.

Our aunt just recently passed away. We were with Oconee for 5yrs. In that time we have been very pleased with the service and care of both the office staff and the caregivers who took care of my aunt! Reading these reviews I am appalled as we never experienced anyone being rude, and the caregivers were amazing! They are like our family! Everyone we've dealt with at Oconee has been very professional. We would highly recommend Oconee Area Home Care to anyone who needs help with their loved ones. The people who schedule the aides really know how to hand pick caregivers for the patient to not only

The company is unethical -- tries to bill unused services from dead people. It did not try to send a bill, did not try to make a phone call, this company goes straight to submit a lawsuit at the Athens Courthouse. It submits lawsuits after the company owner finds out from the local newspaper's obituary that the client is dead. Oconee Are Home Care does everything to take advantage of the chaos after a person's death.
Some of the caretakers were ok, but this company is owned by a scammer.
