Hi I am Karen and the owner of Spa Touch, I currently rent a room in Beauty and Soul Skin Care which is a Day Spa in the downtown Maitland, Florida area. Spa Touch is an exclusive nail spa and services all of the Central Florida area. My clients are those that are looking for a relaxed and safe nail services and want to be educated in proper nail health and care.
I have been in business for over 26 years, and do hard builder gel, gel polish, natural nail manicures, pedicures, (including a Hot Rock Pedicure) and a alternative to the traditional dip service. When you walk thru the door you'll notice a welcoming environment. My room is tucked in the back and is a Zen-like nail studio.

Wonderful!!! The music from the start was relaxing. She is also very customer friendly.
Noticed from the start my knee brace and made sure nothing she did was hurting my knee which was absolutely amazing!

Karen is the sole proprietor of Spa Touch, and as such, does not have a lot of nail technicians working for her. Therefore, Karen cannot book simultaneous appointments for multiple individuals, such as a group of bridesmaids.
Instead, Karen is able to give you her undivided attention, totally focused on YOU, not rushing your service to get to the next person like the less expensive salons that run clients through like cattle, with technicians who rarely speak to you in English in a manner that develops a long term client-technician relationship.

Karen is amazing! She only uses high end products and very gentle and careful while doing my manicure. She is also very knowledgeable and once you meet her you'll know that she is an expert in this field. She also gave me a tip on trimming and filing my nails without completely cutting the length too short. The location is at the back of a credit union and not very visible from Edgewater Drive. It looked like a small house but it is very clean and has friendly and feel at home kind of atmosphere. I will come back for my rock star pedicure!

She was very aggressive and borderline hateful to me during my gel manicure. I am a lifelong nail biter and she talked down on me for my habit the entire visit. I thought getting your nails done was supposed to be relaxing! It was a birthday gift, too. If you're a professional with 20 years experience, you should be in the business of educating and teaching your clients how to maintain healthy nails, not make them feel awful for even trying! Do not recommend.

My first visit to Spa Touch was today. Karen is super knowledgeable and did a fantastic job. I love the quiet atmosphere at her salon- no one talking loudly over clients to each other. She is very customer focused and aware of keeping things clean and hygienic. Just off of Edgewater Drive- you need to check this place out!

Best mani/pedi! I have been an ongoing client of Karen's for several years. She is very professional, uses quality products and does great work! The atmosphere in her cute little College Park bungalow is very inviting and relaxing. It is not your typical in/out salon you see on every corner, and you can tell the difference the moment you walk in. Karen has been doing nails for many years, and she provides a level of service and quality that is hard to find these days.

Karen does great nails. My hour long pedicure started with a nice long soak while relaxing in her big, comfy chair. She had relaxing music and candles in the quiet atmosphere. She really took her time to exfoliate and ensure that she removed the dead skin, followed by cuticle care and polish. She is very meticulous, and professional. My only complaint is that the time went by too fast.

If I could give this place less than one star I would. I bought my grandmother a gift card from here with 4 services on it(nails, massages, and more). My grandmother forgot to use it right away since she is a little bit older she forgets things. She called to see if she could squeeze in visits to use the gift card that I already paid for and to ask detailed questions about the services. The owner began to chew her head off with my grandmothers first question. The owner started her response off with "you people" I assume referring to her clients/customers. Hands down my the best place to get your nails done. She genuinely cares about each and every person she services, ensuring your comfort and happiness every step of the way. She's clean, sanitary and cares about your health just as much as the beauty of your nails. She takes her time and her quant location makes you feel like you are truly in an oasis and never rushed. Karen is wonderful! Went in for a gel manicure and this is the first time EVER, that a week later, my nails are in tact. I work with my hands and typically, a gel will start chipping within the week. She's professional, knowledgeable and her services are reasonably priced. I will definitely continue using her services.
