We are a private elementary school and preschool serving the Princeton and surrounding communities for over ten years. Our preschool program serves children ages 33 months through 6 years of age. It is designed as a hands on learning environment, where children learn at their own pace. Our Elementary program is a mixed grades, hands-on learning environment, that utilizes both the Montessori method and an advanced education curriculum.
Discovery Montessori Academy also offers an affordable before and after school programming for both the elementary and preschool students. It is designed for working parents in need of childcare. Founded over 100 years ago by Maria Montessori, the Montessori method is a self-derived, independent, instructional education. This process allows an individual to utilize their own areas of interest to learn.

Both my nieces go to Discovery in Princeton and that I think it's so wonderful for Princeton to have this treasure available to them. The teachers and staff are great! The girls love going there. I know they both have learned and continue to learn from the experiences that Discovery Montessori Academy offers. Keep up the good work in these different education times.
