In my opinion this is not the place to go for a decent cut. It seems everyone was there for color, which in a small place with no ventilation left me dizzy and nauseous. I did not like my cut at all and did express my feelings at the time but was met with push back so I left unhappy. If you're into coloring your hair and sitting in fumes, then by all means this is for you. This is my opinion only.

Linda at Rua is absolutely amazing. She *listens* and is incredibly talented both in cut and color. She asks questions to clarify her plans and approach, and is every bit as talented as the stylists I've seen at various pricey NYC salons. Actually she's done me better, and brought me back to my high school hair color 20 years post high school! She also fixed a banged up haircut I got recently, so that it moves and flows much better. I'm so so glad to have found her services local to me and at a manageable price point-- it's a most enjoyable luxury!

Oonagh did my hair for me on my wedding day and I couldn't be happier! I met her at my best friends wedding because she was doing my bridesmaids hair and I instantly loved her. As soon as I got engaged I called Oonagh to see if she could do my hair on my wedding day and it was the best decision I ever made! She was easy to work with, was very honest, and such a pleasure to be around. On the day of my wedding, all my bridesmaids LOVED their hair thanks to Oonagh and Kathy. They were so wonderful! I love, love, love Kathy! After moving up from the city, I was really worried it would take a while to find a new stylist as great as the one I had, but Rua has been a gem find (and reasonably priced!) I'm also an appreciator of good hair washing pre-cut, and Rua doesn't skimp.
