My style is open, practical and engaging. I strive to learn about your experience in the world, meet you where you are, and support you on your path of healing and growth. My first experience in the field of psychology was working as a counselor with children with Autism Spectrum Disorders. That experience sparked my curiosity about human development and psychological functioning.
I offer a free, no obligation telephone or virtual consultation to help you determine if I am a good fit for you. At the end of the consult we can take next steps, which might include setting up an intake session, or I can help you find the provider(s) or resources you need. During our initial sessions, we will begin to explore your concerns and determine what positive changes you're hoping to achieve in therapy.
We are partners in helping you achieve your goals. I offer solid clinical experience, however only you have lived your unique life. Each person is an expert in themselves and our work together will help your inner wisdom bloom. Respect in a therapeutic relationship means sensitivity to where you've been, where you are now and where you hope to be.

Pregnancy can be a challenging experience, both physically and emotionally. You might be experiencing intense emotions, worrying about the health and safety of your growing baby, or encountering new life stressors. If you have a history of depression, anxiety or trauma, sometimes these issues re-surface in pregnancy making it difficult to enjoy this time.
