At Baitner Pediatric Dentistry we know that when it comes to your children, their health is a top priority. That's why we recommend that your child start seeing a dentist as young as 1, or when his or her first tooth starts coming in. It is also important that they get used to regular dental visits and adopt a good oral hygiene at a young age.
Our office schedules appointments to fit your schedule as best we can. For the best possible appointment, we recommend that young children and those with longer appointments are scheduled in the morning. This is because they are fresher during this time of day for us to comfortably work with them. During your little one's first appointment, we invite you to stay with them.
It's those early years where development happens in the blink of an eye! One day you're concerned with teething and the next you're talking about braces. There is so much to know about your child's early oral development, and a pediatric dentist dedicates their time to making sure everything is happening the way it should!
Some children are given nitrous oxide/oxygen, or what you may know as laughing gas, to relax them for their dental treatment. Nitrous oxide/oxygen is a blend of two gases, oxygen and nitrous oxide. Nitrous oxide/oxygen is given through a small breathing mask which is placed over the child's nose, allowing them to relax, but without putting them to sleep.

Baitner Pediatric Dentistry deserves more than 5 stars! My son broke his tooth and needed to be seen ASAP; even though my son wasn’t a current patient, Dr. Baitner was able to see him within the hour. Because the appointment was made so quickly, I needed help getting my insurance verified - Doreen was absolutely beyond helpful, super-friendly and patient. She was an absolute pleasure and made a very frustrating situation easier to deal with. When we arrived, my son was seen immediately and Dr. Baitner was friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating. Talk about a dentist WONDERLAND!!! Today was my first time I took my child to a dentist office visit. And I am happy to say we left with a positive feeling about the dentist. The staff was so welcoming so trusting, they do a very good job on keeping the place clean just overall treating us with A+ hospitality! Excellent customer service. Kids treated like kings in this office. Bunch of toys, balloons and coins to entertain upset kiddos. Dr. Baitner is very attentive, kind and professional dentist. I love that I only pay for what I request to be done though I never felt to be pushed on doing work we didn’t need.
