Simpson Optical

Took a month to get one set of frames, and a month and a half when I decided to just cancel another order for lenses that never came for a frame I provided. The frames I bought here were $60 to $100+ more expensive than anywhere else I found them. They aren't great at communication, every time I called to see what the hold up was, they would take my info so someone could call me back, but I never got any call back.

Both the exam and eye glass sides of this practice are great to work with. My 18 month old daughter broke my favorite pair of glasses by ripping the temple off the frame, but they were able to repair it for me quickly. I can’t thank the technicians enough for fixing them.
My prescriptions from the optometry side are always correct, and the office uses the latest technology/instruments to perform your exam. Simpson may be pricier than some practices, but the level of customer care is worth it.

They ripped my mom off by giving her glasses that did not make a difference at all. Spent over $400 and only refunded 70% because that’s their policy. The doctors didn’t even want to listen, they were too busy in their own world. Every time you walk in, you’ll see a ton of staff, but they won’t help you because they’re busy doing nothing. Stay away at all costs! I definitely will not return here, ever!

Always a nice experience. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. The only place my whole family goes for exam and glasses.

I've been going to Simpson's and Dr. Lambirth for years now and won't go anywhere else. I had RK vision correction more than 20 years ago making it difficult now to get an accurate prescription. Throughout the years many Optometrists have tried however, Dr. Lambirth has been the only one to get it right every time.
Also Simpson Optical has a large selection of frames. There is no pressure to upgrade and you don't have to worry about them tricking you into buying an extra feature you don't need. All options are identified, explained, and questions throughly answered.

Best optometrist office I've ever been to. They are clean and take covid seriously. They are thorough and efficient. Worth the drive from Richmond KY.

I have been going to Simpson Optical for about 4 years now. It is wonderful! I would have say that everything about it is great. It is very clean and well maintained. The receptionist at the front desk are friendly and welcoming. I have never had to wait for more than 10 minutes to be seen. I always see Dr.Lanham! I have never seen any of the other doctors but from my personal experience, she is the best! She is so friendly, explains everything and makes sure you understand. I would highly recommend Simpson Optical located at Meijer Way.

First time visiting an optometrist in town and I’m so glad I came here! The entire staff was super friendly and accommodating, starting from the check in process. Due to Covid restrictions, i received a text to call when I got there to check in. Well, when I did get there, I didn’t even have to call because someone came to my vehicle to get my information and get the ball rolling. Then I was met at the door and talked through the whole process as multiple tests (air puff, hot air balloon in the distance) were done. I got offered a procedure that scanned my eyes and took pictures which I opted

This was our first visit to Simpson Optical. It was at the beginning of the 're-opening' of business, and we had to follow very specific instructions that were communicated to us. When we arrived, we were greeted cheerfully and professionally. My wife and I received prompt and friendly service from the Simpson staff, and we never felt rushed or that we were being 'up-sold' on items. This was much, much better than our previous experiences at Lenscrafters and Pearle Vision. Great selection and great staff make this our choice for optical products and service.
