I was trying to switch brands between contacts and they did not follow up with me very well. Left a message complaining about my experience, got a call back almost 3 MONTHS later apologizing and trying to work with me. Three months is too long for something so important. I gave them 3 stars because I didn’t want to be too harsh.

Just went to the Nicholasville/ Man o War Walmart location for the first time. I loved it there! Dr. Lane is absolutely amazing and took her time with me. I loved the techs/receptionists Samantha and Blake, they are so sweet and kind. I think patient interaction is so crucial and coming from a healthcare background, I think they did amazing and I am happy to establish them as my primary optometrist. Highly recommend Dr. Lane!

I go to the Nicholasville location. I've been going to Dr. Mattson since I was in 1st grade, about 16 years now. He has always treated me with the utmost respect, friendliness and professionalism. The office staff has always been friendly and the office is always clean. They have taken especially good measures during COVID. I absolutely recommend Dr. Mattson and Eyemax to anyone looking for a great eye doctor.

Dr. Shelby Henderson is the best optometrist I’ve ever been to! She is so kind, fun, gentle and informative. She Explained things to me about my eyes in a comprehensive manner and made sure I understood. She took the time to answer all of my questions and ask me a lot of questions no optometrist has ever asked me before, and I have been wearing glasses and contacts for 25 years. I arrived for my appointment, they got me right inside and started almost immediately. For the most part the other ladies working there have great customer service skills as well. Best eye clinic and doctors in Kentucky. I am glad to be a patient of Dr. Lane and EyeMax. The EyeMax team is like family to me with great service, care, treatment and support. i have referred my family to EyeMax and they love it here as well. I will not be going to any other eye doctor clinic but EyeMax. I have been going here for years.

Extremely nice staff. Cute little waiting area with a gorgeous fish tank, fireplace, and large screen TV. If you need a routine eye check, contacts, or a prescription for glasses, I would recommend them. Plus they are conveniently located inside the Nicholasville road Wal-Mart, right next to their glasses/ contacts department.
