PAGEBOY is located in the heart of downtown on the second floor of one of Athens most historic buildings. Those of us behind PAGEBOY were desperate to find a hair salon in Athens that could combine the hard geometry of Debbie Harry with the poise and polish of Audrey Hepburn.
We eventually decided to open that perfect salon ourselves. PAGEMAN, the Athens, Georgia original, was created for the modern individual who wants cutting edge services in an environment tailored to them. Olivia is by far the best hair dresser I’ve ever had. She’s so sweet and professional and listens to EXACTLY what I want (none of that “I want a trim” and 6 inches is gone bs) and perfectly executes my vision every time. She’s very knowledgeable and able to combine what I want with what my hair needs to get the perfect result in appearance and health long term. If you’re anywhere near Athens, go to Olivia. I guarantee you won’t regret it

I flew in from DC for my sister in law's wedding and prebooked a wash, blowdry and style at Pageboy Salon. My stylist Kenzie was awesome! She listened to what I wanted (more lift given how thick and heavy my hair is) and executed. Great conversation throughout the service too which helped me relax. Highly recommend this place!

Worst haircut I’ve ever gotten. I was very specific about what I wanted; a 1inch trim, very blunt, straight across, no angling or layering. It was like my stylist tried to do exactly what I didn’t want. It’s not only not what I asked for, but it’s actually really bad. My hair is all different lengths and instead of a blunt cut, she thinned out the ends making my hair look thin and damaged. Never going back.

Great experience. They keep the place very clean during the pandemic and have everyone wash their hands upon arriving which I think is smart. I had Brooke cut my hair and she did an excellent job. I was nervous about getting layers but she made me feel really comfortable and asked how I liked it before she made the cut. Highly recommend Brooke for a great hair cut and she was very nice as well.

Great haircut for men. Highly recommended for anyone looking for traditional take on a modern look. I always see good looking old-timey dudes here… kinda surprising because it’s so modern and hip inside. Super classy place, but the staff is so friendly it never seems too posh. Love this place.

5 stars for Brooke at Pageboy for an awesome haircut and blow dry/style! I felt very safe with Pageboy's precautions. Brooke did a great job of listening to what I was looking for in a hairstyle and ran with it. After a long day of work, it was exactly what I needed! Thank you Brooke and Pageboy! I have been to other salons in Athens and this is my favorite. Great quality for the prices.

Jenna was so great! I booked the appointment last minute, and everyone was so welcoming. The space is very neat, which was nice too. Jenna listened to everything I said and made sure I was comfortable throughout the whole process. She even brought me a drink when I was under the dryer! I felt like she took great care with my hair and knew what I wanted, even when I wasn't very precise with my words. She and everyone at Pageboy are amazing, and I can't wait to come back!!

Tldr: 3 appointments, bad dye job, and then color correction. I have basically the same hair color before, with my curl pattern ruined and $360 (w/ tip) poorer without how I wanted my hair in the first place.

I'm new to the area and haven't had to find a new stylist for a long time - so I was very leery. I read the reviews for Pageboy and felt that they were mostly good so I bit the bullet and called.
I was set up with Erin, and was I ever pleased. I had a picture of my last haircut and told her I'd like something similar to it - she listened, she asked questions, she looked at the picture again, asked a couple more questions and proceeded to give me a beautiful cut and style. I'm thrilled and absolutely recommend Erin at Pageboy.

One of the best salons I've ever been to! The place is super modern and trendy. Alyssa is the absolute best!! I got balayage and a trim and it was more than I could have asked for. She was knowledgeable about what she was doing and let me know when she used a product/ did something different with my hair so that I didn't feel out of the loop. Not to mention she is so stinkin' sweet!!

This is exactly why I love yelp so much. Woke up this morning and thought "Dayumm self, you got to do something about that mess." Then I thought "Maybe you'll feel better after some espresso." Of course I did, but not enough. So I just turned to yelp, found the Page Boy salon with high ratings and trusted implicitly. What a nice salon! Everything you want in a salon is here and everything you don't want in a salon is not here. Spacious, bright, modern, clean, friendly and serene. Oh and Alyssa did a great job on my hair! Highly recommend!

Chrissy is amazing. I don't know how she did it but I went from dark brown to a perfect shade of blonde in 2 hours. I made an appt the day of and they had no problem accommodating me. I showed Chrissy some pictures of the color I wanted and she did her thing. I love my hair and have gotten SOOO many compliments on it. Not to mention, the salon is so cute inside and everyone was super friendly. I don't live in Athens, and I'm actually upset that I wont be able to go there for all my hair color/cut needs :(

Wait, no reviews yet?? Well it is my honor to tell you all about my hair salon for the past six years (as it was formerly Rage, but not much has changed).
The employees are all super friendly and creative. I've never had a bad experience with Erin (my stylist), and have sent two of my best female friends here and they've loved their own stylists. So really, you can't go wrong in my opinion.
I always pre-book, so I can't speak to walk-in availability, but I would be surprised if they couldn't get you a spot on short notice if necessary.
The location is also great
