Spruce Acupuncture
Spruce Acupuncture is founded on the belief that living in a state of health, well-being and balance is an attainable goal that we want to help you achieve. We specialize in blending Traditional Chinese Medicine with holistic therapies to treat not just a symptom, but the underlying root cause. Our treatment plans are individually tailored to meet the unique needs and experience of each of our patients.

Acupuncture has been used for over 2,500 years as a healing technique of Eastern Medicine. Originating in China, it involves inserting ultra-fine, sterile needles into specific Acupoints on the skin to improve function and promote the body's natural self-healing process.

At Spruce Acupuncture, we specialize in blending Traditional Chinese Medicine with holistic therapies and functional medicine to treat not just a symptom, but the underlying root cause as well. We believe in health and overall wellness for everyone and founded this practice to help our patients achieve a state of well-being.

Upon completing a thorough health evaluation, recommendations for specific treatment options will be made that are focused on improving the whole person and returning the body to balance.
Food intolerance can occur at any stage in life and is often known to plague multiple members of a family with similar symptoms. Blood tests can provide a picture of what foods may be causing a hyperimmune response and creating symptoms of a weakened digestive system, fatigue, brain fog or headache.
Spruce Acupuncture specializes in Internal Medicine, Reproductive Health, and Pain Management, including Women's Health, Fertility & Conception, Chronic Pain, Digestion Issues, Fatigue, Stress & Anxiety, and Sleep Issues. This is not a comprehensive list. If you do not see your condition listed, please contact us to see if acupuncture can help.
We assess and treat a variety of pain conditions with acupuncture. During your initial intake session, we will discuss pain details including onset, duration, triggers, pain pathways, and quality of pain, (for example: is it stabbing, burning, aching, or an itching or tingling sensation). We have found that all pain is different and responds differently to treatment based on our TCM diagnosis.

I recently went to see Sharon to resolve a back strain I sustained while playing golf, and being over-zealous at the gym too soon. As a Doctor of Acupuncture and owner of a sports med clinic across the bay, I hold high standards when looking for another physician to work on me. I'm a total needle-phobe and I still get squeamish about points I know are sensitive, but Sharon has great technique and I honestly didn't feel any pain, at the same points a dozen other acupuncturists failed me on. She's a good communicator if you get anxious, and is patient and respectful of your time and

Sharon has a thoughtful and great approach to patient care. She has treated my 14 year-old son for many months and after arguing with ineffective western alternatives, he constantly asks to go back to see her because he can tell her treatments are helping. We are thankful to have her open her new acupuncture practice in Danville after her relocation from San Francisco.
