Thomas Schaffer comes from a family of eight, and started working at age twelve for his father's farm and grain elevator. Earlier on, he saw how working families struggle to make ends meet and learned the value of hard work, dedication, and commitment to family. Attorney Thomas Schaffer was admitted to the Ohio Bar in 1990.
Attorney Laura Wilson is a Northwest Ohio native. She was admitted to the Ohio Bar in 2001. She attended the University of Toledo, where she received her Bachelor's degree in 1996, and her J.D. degree in 2001. She volunteered as a GAL/CASA from 2009 - 2012. Laura was a member of the Wood County Democratic Party from 2001 - 2003 and the Lucas County Young Democratic Party from 2004 - 2007.
When I began my career at Schaffer & Associates in 2019, I had every intention of simply serving as their receptionist until I finished college and became a teacher. Quickly I found my niche within the practice, and my role grew into that of the office administrator. To date, I oversee much of the behind-the-scenes work within the firm.

I have been having some serious medical issues for several years now and ended up losing my job because of those issues.
