Founded in 1981 by Robert Gibson Sr., Total Auto Body has grown to be Ozaukee County's largest independent auto collision repair center. The current owner Bob Gibson Jr. got his start sweeping floors and cleaning cars while still in high school. I made an appointment online and arrived on time. After explaining to the receptionist what I was there for and letting her know that I would be paying out of pocket, that there was no insurance claIm, they seemed completely uninterested. I explained that I had received one other quote to which she replied, "I'm sure that whatever the other quote was, ours will be the same or higher." Someone came out with me to look at the car but would not give me an estimate. He said they would have to take the car apart first. I've never been to a body shop that would not give me a written
