We got a nice umbrella for our backyard, 5 months later and having it used only 3 times, the fabric is torn. We always keep the umbrella covered, and had been careful when using it. We reached out to customer service seeking for a replacement of the canopy. It turned out our warranty did not cover replacing what was obvious to be a problem with the fabric quality (damage is on the hem of the canopy). We are extremely disappointed, this was a costly umbrella and the poor customer service just makes us realize how not always the most expensive option comes with the best customer service. They did

Kevin earned every one of these five stars. My husband and I went to another store and decided we wanted to buy a cantilever umbrella. They didn't have the one we wanted in stock so today I had the pleasure of going to Patio 1. Kevin showed me the difference in features between all the cantilevers (and more!). After a bit of back and forth via text with my husband, we then explored 11' stand alone umbrellas.... to 6' stand alone... with different colored framing... different types of bases... after 2+ hours in the store, we had a lot to think about. Have made two substantial purchases over the past two years. BJ and his team are absolutely awesome! Extremely knowledgeable and helpful, without being pushy in any way whatsoever. They have always taken the time, with great PATIENCE, to educate my wife and I on what will hold up best in the Houston heat/humidity and what will be most pleasing to "the eye". They are like having my on personal "exterior designer". Highly recommend as I believe they are the ONLY place in town when it comes to outdoor furniture.

Went here to get new outdoor bar stools. I was dressed almost in a suit and the sales people did not want to assist me in finding anything. They might have judged me when I walked in and since I did not drive an expensive car so did not want to assist me. I was told to just walk around to find what I wanted and I guess I was supposed to come back and tell them what I wanted, I did not get assistance in finding what I needed so I left. Brick and Mortar stores are trying to compete with online stores and the way I was treated here, I would purchase online yet I like to support local businesses

We initially left the store as the sales associate Pamela refused to sell us the furniture after she made an error in the sales price and pieces available. The sales price was correct, Pamela made multiple errors and was unable to perform simple math. Pamela was then out of nowhere extremely rude, unprofessional, disrespectful and ended up offending and upsetting my wife and kids with her extraordinary behavior. Beware! All nice when you purchase. We got a pretty significant amount of furniture. Two months later one of the outdoor benches had a huge water bubble and started peeling. We went to the store and they said we had to pay $35 for them to "find our receipt" since we didn't save it (who saves paper nowadays?). Horrible service when things go wrong. Bad quality furniture!
