I was inexperienced, right out of college and needed a simple insurance matter resolved. This fast talker was on the phone with my family getting money within minutes. I never saw him again. He assigned my case to someone in his office, also fresh out of school. I ended up with a worse result than if i had done nothing. It took me a while to pay family back. The other reviews look much the same. This office pressured me to sign papers I didn't want to sign and ended the case poorly. How he is still in business after all this time, I'll never know.

Called the National Lawyers Guild on a Monday, got a referral for Douglas Hyne with Lovenberg & Associates, for a contempt proceeding on a Thursday and he was able to thoroughly review my documents, spoke with me several times on the phone, his office was always very professional to deal with, knew his schedule, got messages to him when necessary. In court he was a skilled litigator, his advice was spot on, and he was able to explain what my position was without ever making me feel that he was mansplaining anything, and I always felt confident that he was 1000 percent on my side, and zealously

What can we say about lawyers? These guys saved my A$$ from my own stupidity Doug Hines is the friggin BOMB! He wasn't an expense he was an investment in my future. Awesome job, loved watching him manipulating the ex wife's lawyers- literally had to pick my jaw up off the table and hold it shut. For family law this guy rocks. I was a young grad student with a fairly simple landlord-tenant issue. I was charged $750 for a simple demand letter, and unfortunately, as stressed and panicked as I was, I wrote a check. It took several weeks for them to produce my letter. My case was certainly not a priority for them. I ended up suing my landlord in small claims court alone, without the help of an attorney. A few years having gone by, I realize now how unprofessional this law firm was, both in the amount of money they charged me and the service provided. I would recommend that others, especially those who are in a time-sensitive

If there were less stars then one star I would choose less. Big waste of time and money. And the firm will not even return my personal medical records that cost me hundreds of dollars to give to them per request. Ive never had to sue a lawyer before but there's a first for everything...... Lovenberg if your reading this... you may want to reconsider and send my records back .

I've worked with numerous lawyers over the years and can say without a doubt that you will be extremely happy that you hired Doug Lovenberg. From when you first meet Doug you can tell that he carries himself like a litigator to be reckoned with. But as I got to know him I learned that he's a thoughtful and caring attorney who always puts the needs of his clients ahead of his own.
Doug is always very responsive to any questions I have and takes the time to answer my questions fully. I can't recommend Doug any higher - he's an amazing attorney!

Not a good firm. I called for consultation. The lawyer who talked to me acted like they were the best law firm in the nation. He talked to me with an attitude. Charges were excessive. Very excessive. I then asked one of their previous clients and he told me they were ok. Nothing special. I would not contract them unless you want to waste your money.

I went to Lovenburg Associates downtown for a matter regarding property that needed to be returned to me. Doug Lovenburg spoke to me and outlined a plan and also a fee which had to be upfront. Once I agreed to it as he walked me out he promptly walked me into another attorneys office (a younger and definitely less experienced one). He even made a joke saying he was paying the younger attorney's rent by bringing me into his office. I was pretty offended but desperate because this issue was very time sensitive.
In court the lawyer was terrible and did not update me on ongoing issues. Overall
