Our team of legal professionals includes litigation attorneys Jay Stillman, Mike Friedland, Pete Heil, and Patrick Thurman. They have many years of experience in trial litigation, persuading juries to award large judgments for our clients. Jay Stillman was born and raised in Nashville and has been practicing law for 37 years. He founded his own personal injury law practice 32 years ago. In 2002, he and his long-time friend Mike Friedland became law partners. Jay has litigated literally thousands of personal injury and workers compensation cases over the years.
Mike Dillon has been practicing law for 27 years and has been a personal injury lawyer at Stillman & Friedland for ten years. He has successfully represented hundreds of clients injured in car and truck collisions in middle Tennessee. He was born in Toledo, Ohio, and moved to Cleveland, Tennessee when he was thirteen.
Mike Friedland has been practicing law for 28 years. He was born in Philadelphia and grew up here in Nashville, TN. His first career was in business, where he developed keen skills in negotiating and conflict resolution. Then, after law school, Mike spent the first five years of his law career in public service where he gained experience trying cases in front of juries and judges.
Peter Heil has practiced law for 29 years, and he has been a litigating attorney with Stillman and Friedland since 2008. He has a track record of settling cases for many times their initial offers. Before his law career, Peter spent ten years as a medical researcher at Vanderbilt University. That experience made him adept at reading and understanding medical charts.

My experience with Stillman & Friedland was all a positive one. From start to finish. They kept me informed on the status of my case and updated me regularly with all new information over the course of my lawsuit. Stillman and Friedland are definitely the team to go with if you find yourself needing an attorney. From consultation through the end of my suit, they have gone above and beyond to fight and get what was deserved. They handled EVERYTHING! And won my case. Accidents can have a lasting after effect on a person, but at least the doctor bills are something I didn't have to worry about.
