Periodontal treatment methods depend upon the presence of oral health versus the type and severity of gum disease, also referred to as Periodontal Disease or Periodontitis. The appropriate treatment will be recommended after your Dentist and Hygienist collect and evaluate all necessary data.
If periodontal health is evident or disease is caught very early on in a mild/moderate stage commonly known as Gingivitis, generally no damage has been done and 1 or 2 regular cleanings will be recommended.

Preventing gum disease, cavities, bad breath, as well as many other oral conditions is the best way to treat them. Prevention saves patients pain, discomfort, embarrassment and extensive treatment that can become very costly. Having to restore a diseased dentition is significantly more expensive than maintaining the dentition with good oral hygiene habits and regular check-ups with your Dentist.

I just had an appointment with Dental Arts in Boynton Beach. The hygienist was excellent and also very timely for the appointment. My past experience with the dentist was also excellent for a crown on a cracked tooth. I have been so impressed with the practice that I have recommended other friends to utilize their services. My husband and I have been going to this dental office for almost 3 years now and we absolutely love it. We love the staff, they are always soooo pleasant and friendly. They’re like family now. Dr. Cerullo is not one of those “stuck up” arrogant doctors. He’s laid back, humorous, personable and is concerned about you as a person. The office is clean clean clean! Not only do you get great dental care, but they also involve you in your care and teach you along the way.

Absolutely the BEST! Very thorough, very professional, but friendly. Extremely efficient staff. (A real surprise to me, being a new patient, is they don’t use and automatic answering system. Someone actually answer the phone!!!)

This is such an incredible and organized office. If you want the best customer service in dental care come here! They answer their phones and call you back. They are very efficient. I love my hygienist Karen...she is truly remarkable. She takes her time, is so kind and very pleasant. She ALWAYS does a fantastic job on my teeth. Dr. Cerullo is a wonderful dentist and never rushes with you. Can't say enough great things about this office.
