Crazy Experience: I have too many crazy stories to list here today. So I will tell you one. I had a wedding in Frederick, MD we had just started the first dance. I was scanning the room like I normally do and witnessed a young lady walk through the front door B-line for the cake and stick her ENTIRE hand into the cake.

Hi, I am Nageen. I have been a wedding & event planner for 12+ years. I have been through it all! The feeling of drowning and not knowing what to do next. From digging myself out through self-education, life lessons, and the will to keep going. I believe wholeheartedly the best planner is someone who is not afraid to learn new things, is well rounded in the event industry, and most importantly is a team player.
Glamour N Glitz Event was able to make our wedding dreams come true. From late-night phone calls, addressing bridal party issues, and overcoming issues with vendors, Glamour N Glitz Events deal with these issues and much much more. Even when it came down to finding a backup venue only weeks before the wedding when we were not sure if the planned venue could deliver on what was promised.

We had the pleasure of meeting Nageen at an open house for a venue back in 2018. Unfortunately, that venue didn’t end up taking off as a wedding venue, however my partner and I very much wanted to work with Nageen to help plan our wedding.
We weren’t sure what to expect but are happy we decided to move forward and work with a planner, and specifically work with Nageen. From the very beginning, Nageen helped us to stay organized around our wedding and really bring our vision to life!
As luck would have it, COVID very much impacted our wedding, forcing us to change our date not once, not twice

From the moment I contacted Nageen, I was immediately impressed with her professional and quick responses. After exchanging a few messages via email, we scheduled a phone call to further discuss what I was looking for in a day-of wedding coordinator for my July 18, 2020 "pandemic" wedding.
From the second we got on the phone, we hit it off and immediately had a great connection. I was very happy that we had such a good bond right away, so I signed the contract that day and I have never been more pleased with a contract-signing decision!

I am so glad to have had the opportunity to work with such an amazing company!! Nageen and Amber made the process completely flawless and inviting!! As the photographer, I need to know the flow of the event, two weeks prior to the date I receive a fully detailed layout of the WHOLE event!! No other event planner has ever done that for me!! The Bat Mitzvah party went beautifully and I managed to walk away with images that the client will cherish for every day of her life!! I look forward to working with GNG Events again soon!

I worked with Nageen to design my engagement party, and it was a great experience from start to finish. She was easy to reach and communicative throughout the whole planning process. She also did a great job at bringing to life all of the ideas i had communicated to her, including making any modifications I requested. The centerpieces and backdrops she created were beautiful and unique. I would highly recommend her for any event decoration services in the DC area!

There truly are not enough words to express my gratitude for Glamour N'Glitz events! Nageen and her assistant, Marwa, were my day-of/month-of coordinators, and not only were they perfectly professional, organized, detailed, sweet and fun, but they also SAVED my ENTIRE wedding day from ruin, as there happened to be torrential flooding rain that began 10 minutes prior to our outdoor ceremony. Since I wanted to try and wait out the rain (which was not to be waited out, haha) we ended up starting the ceremony 40 minutes late, which meant the entire evening (which had been perfectly planned to the minute

Nageen and her team were awesome!!!! She was available any time I had a question wether via email or text and always responded quickly. My wedding day was amazing thanks to her, the venue looked so beautiful and I gave her a ton to use! Would recommend and definitely use again for any kind of event.
