Thanks so much for the message and thanks for all you did to help Mr. Sclar over the years. You care and concern have been much appreciated! Golden Living of Point Loma is very clean. The staff is caring, and they're the people who actually care for my husband. They have a chef there, there's a variety, and the food is quite good, but he is a diabetic so I have to tell them to remove sugar and stuff from the table.

In my opinion, it is one of the best affordable assisted living facility in San Diego. Over the years, I've had many clients residing at Golden Living of Point Loma. The staff do an amazing job providing care and keeping the building clean. Their budget is very small in comparison to other local facilities but the quality of care does not suffer. Meals are not fancy....they are nutritious and, balanced much like meals-on-wheels. Rooms are spacious and I only have to ask once for maintenance to repair an item. A perk, for clients who are ambulatory is the fact that many shops are short walking distance
