Placed an order this morning for same day delivery for a friend’s birthday! Flowers Make Scents was one of the most reasonably priced florists I found in the area and the arrangement was beautiful! Will definitely use them in the future!

I live in Poquoson, Virginia and had to find a Florist to deliver to Bennett and Barden Funeral home in Powhatan, Virginia. The Funeral home referred me to Flowers Make Scents. I called them and spoke with Tierney and what a pleasant person she was. She was so kind and helpful. I told her I would be keeping their number for the future. Our wedding flowers were everything I could have dreamed of. They're were beautifully and thoughtfully put together and Shari was a dream to work with. Would highly recommend!

We used Flowers Make Scents for our wedding and greatly regret it. The initial consultation with the owner was great and it was a wonderful experience. We had an idea of what we wanted and the owner worked off that to create a beautiful vision. We were absolutely in love with her designs and ideas as well as the cost. Love this florist! I live in Dallas and needed to order a funeral spray for my aunt's graveside service in Richmond, VA. I wanted a colorful arrangement, as my aunt was an artist. Truly stunning! Big, beautiful, fresh blooms that smell divine. Thank you for cheering up a very drab hospital room with such a gorgeous display of flowers. Best florist in and around Richmond. You will not be disappointed! While this is the first I've personally received, I've used them many times and they never disappoint.

My husband and I used Flowers Make Scents for our wedding florist on 06/19/21 and we are so thankful we did! They made the wedding planning process so easy and personalized. I met with the wedding planner Shari two times and she created my dream wedding flowers just through looking at example photos! They even let me come in on the Thursday before the wedding and see the work that they had done! The photos speak for themselves!

Ordered a premium bouquet online as a birthday gift and received a much smaller bouquet arranged with flowers not even listed in description. I understand using substitutions occasionally but this is a completely different bouquet than the one ordered. The vase is even smaller!! Did not get what I paid for. When I shared my disappointment I was told they added a couple lily’s to “up the value”. Would not recommend their website or service in general. Overall very underwhelming.

I have ordered many flowers from them, often same day delivery,and they all have arrived on time and even more beautiful than I expected! The recipients have all been so happy. We are lucky to have such a wonderful florist in Midlothian!

Flowers Makes Scents did a wonderful job on our flowers. I sent them photos of what I wanted, and the flowers came out looking EXACTLY like the photos I gave them. They were so beautiful, and priced very reasonably as well. They even let you come preview them the day before the wedding so we could make sure they looked just like we wanted.

I ordered flowers for my mothers birthday to have delivered and went to the store to order them. I showed the lady who helped me two arrangements I liked and she told me that they had both vases and that they could do either arrangement. I ended up ordering the Blushing Aqua and left. On the day they were delivered, the wrong arrangement was sent. It was the wrong color completely and had different flowers than the two I showed and the one I ordered. It also contained Lilly’s, a flower my mother is allergic to and which I made sure the arrangement I had ordered didn’t contain. When I called

Fabulous. Beautiful flowers and people. Happy I found them! Even on the craziest day of the year for a florist I'm sure, prom day! They made time to make my bouquets quickly and got me in and out with a smile.

It was a small order however the customer service over the phone was little to none. They told me they were out of roses for boutonnieres for my daughter. They sold me a peace Lily instead which later on I was told is normally for funerals. I went to Kroger and Kroger sold me a eight dollar boutonniere white rose with baby breath. They were professional and helpful at Kroger versus the florist. I spent $12 on a boutonniere that will be going in the trash from flowers n scents and will never go back.

I haven't ordered from this place myself, but I've personally received flowers from them and seen their deliveries to the church I work for. Every arrangement I've see have been gorgeous, fresh, and arranged beautifully. My parents sent me one of the arrangements will all yellow flowers that comes in a smiley face mug, and the flowers were fresh and lasted for a while! Same with Valentine's day flower from my hubby. The only reason I am giving 2 stars is because after a phone call complaint the flowers turned out nice. I called asking if I could order flowers and make a delivery for a funeral that night. The woman on the phone was incredibly helpful. I explained that my best friends dad had died and I wanted to assist in picking out some flowers for a nice arrangement to send to the funeral. She told me she had many orders going to the funeral home and knew which family it was and exactly where to send the arrangement. I ordered flowers for my grandmothers funeral from a pictured arrangement on their website. I personally went in to order. I was told the flowers in that particular arrangement were out of season and she assured me they would stick to the same colors, purples and pinks. What a joke, it was no where near the size it should have been with cheap flowers that were old and the few pink carnations that were in it had started to wilt on the edges. Never again, especially when I went to the viewing and saw that the very same basket I had wanted was there from another local florist! Do not waste your money

I have ordered flowers from this shop via phone multiple times in the past several years, as it is near my parents house and is an "easy" delivery. Overall, I have been moderately happy with the flowers, although I have felt they are a bit pricey for the type of flowers they put in the arrangements. I typically ask for them to create something beautiful with specific colors and style in th $100 range. The arrangements usually look closer to a $50/$60 purchase, but it usually makes my mom happy, with only a few deliveries that were a bit off, so I continued using them.

Planning a wedding? Look no further. Shari did a beautiful job with the flowers for my daughter's wedding. My daughter got married this past Saturday during the snow storm and frigid temperatures. Shari saw the weather forecast and brought the flowers to the venue on Friday- just to play it safe. The temperature in the venue's freezer caused many of the flowers to turn brown and die. I've ordered from Flowers Make Scents multiple times and I feel that for what they advertise in the photos on their website and what you pay, the arrangements have fallen short of expectations on every occasion. They also note that they reserve the right to improvise with flowers that are in season but none of the arrangements I've ordered have really reflected their website's representation. I would recommend looking for another florist.

I ordered an arrangement over the phone to deliver to the nearby Johnston Willis hospital, they were very helpful and were able to get my order delivered later that same day despite my call being in the early afternoon. Would definitely use them again

Living on the other side of the US, I wanted to make sure I sent my mother and sister something special for Mother's Day. I've gone through telefora and FTD before just never thought I ever knew what would actually show up in the delivery. So i decided to find a local flower shop in the Midlothian area. I picked out arrangements on their website and placed my order, which was very easy. The arrangements both arrived Saturday (the day before Mother's Day) as I had requested and looked phenomenal. My mom and sister were so surprised and said they were the most beautiful flower arrangements

I called Flowers Make Scents last week for a last minute hospital delivery for a coworker. Not only did they wait for me to drive 30 minutes to their shop to drop off the card (they were about to leave for the days delivery when I phoned) but they Nailed the floral arrangement. Our friend and the nurse's staff were all blown away by the unique arrangement and beautiful blue vase.
I have had some not so nice experiences with the larger florists in town but Flowers Make Scents is my 100% my go to for all future orders. Wonderful people, service and product.
