Dockside is the name of our building where Assisted Living and Supportive Independent Living residents reside. Located on Assisi Lane in the Atlantic Beach area of Jacksonville, FL, the location provides peaceful seclusion with lakefront views, a nature preserve and majestic live oak trees. My family and I just moved my grandma into anthem lakes. Let me tell you, it has been such an emotional and stressful transition. Ishlah Mallory has made this process so much easier and comfortable, for not only my family, but for my grandma as well. She treats you as if you are her own family and goes over and beyond to help. Anytime, I have a question or concern she addresses it promptly. So thankful for Ishlah and that staff at anthem lakes!

Anthem Lakes has changed drastically.My advice is do not work there.If you are not a friend or family of the executive director you will be treated with disrespect.CJ is very deceitful and sneaky.They have lost good employees and several residents have moved out because of her unscrupulous ways.I can only hope the owner takes notice before it is to late.As an employee you will be expected to tolerate a hostile work environment fueled by management.Occasionally, you may get a elementary school style treat bag of cheap candy as a thank you.Nurses and CNA’s are expected to work understaffed and

We had agreed to move my husband's mother into a $6k+ a month, all inclusive, memory care suite. She has advanced dementia/early to mod Alzheimer's. However, with Covid/other concerns that were uncovered on subsequent visits to the Anthem Lakes office, we told them we may change our minds. We had paid a $3,000 deposit

This facility is beautiful on the outside and they have a friendly & professional sales staff. But, that's where it stops! The Management Staff is unfriendly, unaccommodating, not truthful and bill you for services never received. Medications are not given by Nurses and there was a lot of theft (of the medications).

The facility is beautiful and the Sales / Marketing Department (Tia and LaTonya) are very professional and do their jobs very well, however, the buck stops there! My family member was there for 1 year to date (7/2019 to 7/2020). When he moved in, he brought a large moving box full of diabetic supplies (blood testing devices, strips, insulin, pens, prescriptions, etc.) and the entire box and all it’s contents disappeared! A couple of months ago, a staff member actually purchased unused OxyContin off my family member. Similar to another review here, my family member was also served an EVICTION

We have lived at Anthem Lakes for three years. We are well pleased with the care, services, amenities, staff and food service. The staff has proven to be a bright light in this dark pandemic situation. They have exhibited extreme professionalism and care. We have lived through at least one of the negative reviews written in this section. The individual involved was given every possible chance to be a member in good standing in this community. He elected to decline every opportunity. Kudos to the staff and management of Anthem Lakes. They are a first rate team. We would not want to be anywhere else

Anthem Lakes is a premier retirement community in the Jacksonville area. I visit many communities everyday and Anthem Lakes is one of the most professional and caring I have ever had contact with. The residents there love living there and are very active. The management team is a pleasure to work with. They are very knowledgeable about this industry and care for each resident like they are family! Last but not least the food is 5 stars and the activities are stellar!

My mother has been in this facility since the first year. I visit very frequently so I see the strengths and weaknesses as well as any family member. As with all Memory Care units there is a lot of turnover in the lowest paid positions. The work is hard, emotionally challenging and the pay is low. However, I find most days the staff are caring and pretty thorough in their care. Some residents are very uncooperative because of their dementia. But all in all I think they are managed well, the ancillary medical services are well managed, and they do quite a few activities. I've never seen any

Not a fan of Anthem Lakes. Memory care has a beautiful building unless you have to pick them up for care. There is no overhang or automatic doors. many times picking up in the rain it is a nightmare with the doors slamming shut before getting the walker through. It is also hard to get in when nobody is at the front desk. Just as hard getting out of the place you have to find someone to let you out. They must of been having a hard time finding good nurses and workers. They either ignore you and are so shy they won't tell you anything or they are just plain lazy and hide out on there phone.

Having noted the concern about parking at the memory care building, while it is true that a limited number of spaces are directly in front of the building, many more are in close proximity. Staff has been directed to park away from the front and this is monitored. The spaces are intended for family and for third party professionals, not for staff. We do allow third party professionals to use these visitor spaces,

This facility is very deceiving beautiful on the outside and inside. But that's about it. For the price you pay it is appalling the service or LACK of that your loved will receive on memory care side.Sad thing is this is supposedly one of the better one.
The employees don't interact with clients, they are left alone while eating in the lunch room, they are not changed regularly and sit in wet diapers. Very few activities are done with clients. Ect. Anthem Lakes is a beautiful community with staff that truly cares. Community holds events on a regular basis and provides excellent food. From speaking with residents and families of the community in AL and MC, they really appreciate the attention to detail and the high quality of care they receive.
