My husband and I bought our home in 2019, we love our home and the community, but we have had warranty issues that have not been completed. We have worked with countless staff and have had countless conversations to solve our builder issues. Due to staff turnover and lack of follow through we still today have unfinished warranty issues. The warranty staff shows lack of customer service professionalism and empathy for it's home owners. Beware before your buy!!!

Overall poor quality and even worse craftsmanship. The finishing details throughout our entire home look like they were handled by intoxicated amateurs (we found numerous empty beer bottles and shooters in our crawl space). Damaged drywall installation is just painted over; texture looks like chunky vomit on the walls, not knockdown; they installed a warped staircase; grout and caulking are shoddy; mason work on the outside pillars is crooked; only two months after living in the home, lots of cracking and separating on drywall, trim, corner bead. They tell you they will fix issues with warranty

We have purchased a home with Lokal Homes in Two Bridges. We started out Journey with Mary Jane to purchase and she has been great! As everything has gone crazy over the last year it is taking a while to get the house built, but they have been calling us consistently to let us know what is going on, instead of us trying to find out ourselves. The whole experience has been very smooth. They personnel for decor choices, electrical and project management have all been very pleasant to work with. They have been very honest about everything and not trying to feed us stories. Even talking with some neighbors

Lokal is awesome! We’ve lived in our new home in Buffalo Run for just over a month now and can’t say enough good things! The build quality is far superior to other builders that we looked at and a lot of typically “premium” upgrades come standard! The layout of our house is absolutely perfect and definitely maximizes the usable space. We did have some hiccups in the construction process, but Lokal went above and beyond to make sure we understood how sorry they were, and our home moved along quickly after that. I know some people have reviewed that once you move in they don’t care about

We contacted Lokal about a stair being wobbly and they came out right away to help adjust the issue. The gentlemen that was sent out was professional and all around a good guy. I live in a new Lokal community in Castle Rock and we have had numerous issues with the sprinkler system and landscaping installed by Nu Style, the landscaper Lokal chose. The sprinklers and drip line have not worked properly all summer, numerous plants have died and Lokal and Nu Style have been telling the community for the past 2 months these items would be taken care of and still nothing despite many communication attempts from the HOA board and the property manager. Would never buy a Lokal home again. Worst buying experience out of 7 home purchases. Worst construction, customer service, and warranty. Felt misled on so many fronts. The Sales people and superintendents are changing constantly and no one ever returns a phone call. Disappointing experience, disappointing house.

I have never been more disappointed in ANY business than how this builder operates. We have been in our home over a year and maybe 1/8 of the warranty work has even been attempted. The sad thing is that's the not the worst part, a few weeks after we moved in we learned from our neighbors that there was a major flood in our home (some neighbors say there were 2 floods) this (or these) significant flood events were not disclosed to us by the builder or the sales staff. Lokal Homes has been a blessing to this new home buyer. From the start they were very personable and answered all of the questions we had about the home buying process. As we are new home buyers there were a lot of things we were not thinking of/ aware of and they have been more than helpful with assisting us get to the bottom of those questions and answers which goes above and beyond to me.
Our townhome is still being built, but we receive communication every week on the status of the home which is wonderful! I can't wait to see the end product they are diligently working on.

I entered an agreement with Lokal to purchase a home in Oct 2017. Things changed and I reached an agreement with the sales manager to cancel the loan WITH my earnest money being refunding. However, the main office rejected the refund. Lokal sold that home for an additional $15K and they are refusing to return my earnest money of $5K because of damages. HUH?! Contractually they can keep the money, but as an honest Colorado home builder they say to be, THAT IS NOT TRUE! Terrible business!

I originally marked them as a 5 because the communication of the salesman who took care of us was outstanding. Unfortunately, he left the company and now there is NO COMMUNICATION! Yes. Our house is built and it is beautiful but I referred my sister to build and it was a little less communicative. I was promised $500 for a referral and never received it. I've tried to contact someone and never get w a return call. Very frustrating and disappointing.

Our new house is so special to me. Once my parents got a divorce, we had to live with our grandparents for a year. Then we lived in a two bedroom apartment for three years, and now live in a beautiful home in Aurora Colorado. The model works great, and there were many options to choose from (flooring, tile, carpet, etc.) The price is the usual expensive Colorado price, but our townhome even has a small backyard, and a crawl space.
