We were wishing to purchase a Shea home. We visited the sales office in San Tan and wrote our Realtor's info down on the questionnaire as it asked. We then came back with our Realtor and Shea refused to make her a part of the transaction and told us that they "lost" our form. So we told them we wouldn't be doing business with them at all and withdrew our request....very shady Sales agents and Sales Manager...beware.

Do not buy a house with Shea unless you love having issues with your home that never resolve. There are many reputable builders in the area (Eastmark/SE Mesa) that my neighbors have had no major issues with (Cal Atlantic, Fulton, Mulberry, etc). Even with six trips to your house to repair one issue (which wastes a weekday of your time), Shea's subs will try time and time again to fix their mistakes and only make the problems worse. Issues I have had 4+ trips out to my house for: accent strips in the bathrooms, shower glass in the master, floor tile, cabinets and of course painters and drywallers
