Nerds in a Flash saved my day! My computer was acting up, and I rely on it for business. Nerds in a Flash arrived within two hours and had the computer up and running in another 30 minutes. I'm sorry I don't remember the name of the technician who came, because he was friendly, professional, knowledgeable, and very helpful. I would not hesitate to call them again, and recommend them to anyone who needs computer assistance.

The hard drive that was sold to me five months ago failed I have left multiple messages with James Allen and the owner of nerds in a flash to get a copy of the receipt for my hard drive to exercise my warranty, The only response I have received was from a rude receptionist who told me they do not honor warranties then hung up on me. Do not trust this company!! All I needed was my receipt for my hard drive warranty.

Super quick response, was able to schedule an appointment for the next day. James came by and was great. Polite, professional, explained what he was doing and why. Thankfully the problem turned out to be user error (gotta push that RAM in until it clicks, y’all), but it was totally worth the price to get a second set of eyes and another brain on the problem. Hopefully I never need them, but if I do I know I’ll be confident in choosing Nerds in a Flash again!

Nerds in a Flash rules! My company runs a large arts complex on the East side and we had networking issues pop up out of nowhere that we couldn't solve ourselves (and had the internet shut down for over 20 small businesses). Within a few hours of our call, we were back up and running. Great service, awesome to work with.

Anxious about calling a computer service company out of the blue without having any personal knowledge or referral from someone that I trust. My laptop stopped booting up and I needed help getting it back up and running. Same day evaluation at my home with James from Nerds in a Flash. Very competent and explained what he thought was going on and what repairs were needed. He took my laptop to complete the repairs and provided it back repaired and with all of my data.
I was very impressed with the timeliness of service both on initial assessment and actual repair / completion. Communication was excellent throughout.

Same day service - very important when your gear is down. The guy was professional and - very helpfully - explained everything going on so I understood what the problems were. He had to get pretty creative to determine what my network issue was, and I appreciate that he had a lot of knowledge/experience to draw on.

A Life Saver- a demon got into my system and I couldn't find an exorcist but found Nerds in a Flash. Mr. James Allen is now my go to guy for any computer issues I may have. My backup went bad and lost a lot of data, and my computers functions were diminished. It turned out that my external drive was corrupted and was working havoc on the rest of my system. Mr. Allen had to take my computer with him and reworked the entire system and reloaded everything so that Now everything is automatic and I got a new external hard drive backup. Same day service, on time, wearing a mask and very responsible as far as maintaining social distance. Also very willing to go above and beyond... Didn't just fix the problem I called about but also delved more deeply into how I use the computer and whether some other simple changes might make my work more easy and efficient. He's been willing to explain other issues via text after the first appointment and I feel comfortable coming back to him with more questions. Summary: they may or may not know their stuff, but be very careful as their corporate is extremely greedy. I like to support the local businesses whenever possible, since shutdown policies prop up big corporations, so I went with the nearby Nerds in A Flash. Thinking I could just drop my laptop off and see if it would be even worth trying to repair it, I was told over the phone they can only come to you and wouldn't answer anything until then, but the rather large housecall cost would be deducted from the repair.

Charged me full price and killed my motherboard and failed to figure the problem. I was charge $125 for the diagnostic and they destroyed the mother board upon trying to reinstall windows according to the new technician i brought my pc to fix after this company failed. On top of the $125 the tech wanted to charge $250 to take the computer to diagnose and also another $125 to rush fix it which would be 4 to 5 business days. How rude was I to ask for my money back which they refunded $25 since the could not diagnose the problem but keep $100. Don't use this company as they well keep trying

My computer after I rebooted wouldn't come on and just ran an error message across the screen. I tried everything I could but I'm not techie. I used Yelp request a quote and three businesses responded. One only does Apple products, One was less expensive but I had to travel and drop off my box, and James from NIAF. I sent up an appointment the next day. James arrived on time and was masked ad kept his distance.
