I went to Alabama Family Eye Care for a complete eye exam….it was a great experience from the time I walked in the door! I was so impressed with the friendly staff & Dr Melissa Curl… She took the time to explain everything about my failing vision and why things happen….I did not realize the importance of seeing an eye dr on a regular basis….If you want a total top notch experience of your medical vision care, you need to go to Alabama Family Eye Care!

Practice is typically efficient and on time. Dr. Curl has always taken the necessary time to discuss, explain and address eye care issues with me. I appreciate that she doesn’t get in a hurry when meeting with me. For that reason I have no problem if she is slightly behind getting to me, b/c I know she does the same for other patients.

Been a patient of doc Curl for 14 years. Enough said. Regarding the 1star rating: Yo! How about YOU checking coverage out with your insurance company BEFORE you call a doctor???!!!. 2star rating: I was there last month and yes it took 2 weeks to get my glasses...that' s exactly what they told me!

Dr. Curl and her staff were extremely thorough, kind, personable and helpful throughout my entire appointment. She made contact and glasses suggestions based on my lifestyle. I felt like she and the rest of her staff was quick and efficient, but I never felt rushed. I will definitely continue to receive my eye care here!

I love the doctors at Alabama Family Eye Care. They are thorough and very understanding. They worked with me on getting a specific prescription that works for my close-up computer needs, and my everyday bifocals. The staff and doctors provide excellent attention and service to me and my children.
They have high-end frames, and perhaps they cost more than some places around town, however, they do offer affordable frame options as well as the high-end designer frames. I believe 100% that you get what you pay for when it comes to frames and lenses and expert face-to-face advice regarding eye-care
