A couple of weeks ago I was drawing a bath for my kids and realized the water had gotten cold fairly quickly. I figured it was the mixing valve by the boiler but after speaking to Kevin at Wyman the next day I learned that it was the hot water coil in my 20 year old boiler. I was given the option to replace the coil but Kevin suggested adding an indirect hot water heater to my boiler. The advantage being that if my boiler goes belly up next year I can still use the hot water heater with a new boiler.

We have used the company before. On the 12/26/2020, I called for a problem with the Heating system, they showed up fast, the worker was nice and polite, he changed the thermostat. They charged $125.00 for the call, and I am fine with that. But they charged me $ 175.00 for the thermostat ( actual price $38.50. the job was done in 15 minutes).I called for questions, the Manager was very rues, not nice, and not professional!!! I will never talk to that Person ever. Wat a shame for such a good company!!!

Recommended via Angies list for Install / Repair thermostat and came out and said that I just needed to go grab a new one and install myself. Could not get it to work and called back and was then told that they do not work with electric for baseboard heat and I needed to call an electrician. Was charged a service fee , but ended up being refunded half. Everyone I spoke to was friendly, but I did mention to the first person I spoke to that it was electric heat and they still scheduled an appointment and I am still without heat. If you need work for a thermostat for electric heat do not contact them

I called Wyman energy from a referral of a neighbor and I am very glad I did, early October I had 2 professional and licensed repair men come out give me a written quote as well as maintenance/preventative care for my boiler. I received several other quotes from other companies and chose Wyman not because of the price but for their knowledge and recommendations. Today I had 2 licensed technicians at my home, they were extremely professional neat and thorough. they called before they arrived arrived on time explain to me everything they were doing and we're done in a timely manner. I recently had a repair to my system and chose to use them. I asked for a quote up front for the cost of the repair. I not only did not get a quote, but the technician was late getting there, was only there for 2 hours and the charge was outrageous. I should have looked at YELP BEFORE I made my decision and not allowed the repair to begin UNTIL I received the quotation. They had me over a barrel and knew it.

I scheduled a routine maintenance of the A/C system for a Monday at 1:00 p.m. Two hours went by and no call, no show. I called the office and they had the technician call me back. He said that due to the extreme hot weather there were lots of emergency A/C calls and he was running very late. I could not wait any longer so we agreed to reschedule for the following Monday at 9:00 a.m. Again, 10:30 a.m. and no call, no show. I called the office and they gave me a similar excuse at which point I cancelled the appointment. I had no desire to begin a relationship with a company that cannot be reliable
