He attended the University of Wisconsin - Platteville where he majored in biology. He then went on to attend Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, IA, graduating in 1997 with a Doctor of Chiropractic degree.
He opened his office in Ottawa in 2000 and has been practicing here for the past 16 years. Dr. Miller uses techniques to correct subluxations (misalignment) in the spine and extremities, Dr. Miller primarily uses the Gonstead technique. Other techniques in which he has been trained include Palmer Package, Thompson, Diversified, and Activator.

I drive from Chicago to get back care from this guy. After years of back pain & trying different downtown Chicago chiropractors, I went to see Dr. Dan based on a local's reco & I'm so damn happy I did. Best decision I ever made! He's one of the few Dr's that doesn't try to max out your insurance (Thank you Dr Cheatham, Thank you Dr. Mammano) nor does he do the exact same technique on every patient. He's the only one that gives a real thorough adjustment! You actually heal from his care. He doesn't want his patients to keep coming back--he wants them healed
