When I found chiropractic, I was looking for a profession that would allow me to help others. As I walked into the lecture hall for my 7:30 am class (Neurology 101), I had yet to receive one chiropractic adjustment. I knew very little of the "science" of chiropractic. In fact, I didn't think of chiropractic as being very "scientific" at all.
I have been a Doctor of Chiropractic for 18 years. I am a 1995 graduate of Palmer College of Chiropractic, in Davenport Iowa. I have an additional 3 year degree in the fields of Pediatrics and Pregnancy; I hold a certificate in the field of Spinal Trauma. I am a native to the Illinois Valley, born in Ladd, Il, graduated High school from Princeton, Il.
If you've ever gone to a social event where you didn't know anyone, you know how uncomfortable that can make you feel. Our goal is to eliminate every shred of apprehension and make you feel at home. Since chiropractic care involves a series of visits, with each one building on the ones before, it's important that our relationship can go the distance.

Excellent care and wonderful friendly staff!
Dr. Dan Farrell has always addressed my issues
with neck pain and he’s the only doctor I would
trust for a neck adjustment. Convenient hours

My family and myself have been going to Ottawa Chiropractic for years. Dr. Farrell and Dr. Flaherty have always done an amazing job with our healthcare. Ottawa Chiropractic is our go to place first and foremost before we go to an MD whether it be the common cold, headaches, back issues and to many more to mention. My philosophy is that our body is a lot like a car. If our body is out of alignment it doesn't function properly and we become sick, Dr. Dan and Dr. Kathryn make sure we stay healthy.

I highly recommend Ottawa Chiropractic! Everything about my experience has been excellent-from scheduling, to services, to follow up care. I am so comfortable with both of the doctors and the staff, that I even took my daughter in to be seen as a newborn.
