Services
Many times people will ask me why I chose to specialize in working with adolescents and young adults. Much of my experience as a therapist has come from working with adolescents and teens in intensive programs which specialize in teen and family issues. I spent many hours speaking to teens in groups, intensive outpatient centers and residential treatment centers, learning about common issues that kids were facing.
I understand that many of the issues that adolescents are facing these days may have a negative impact on their happiness, school work and family life. School Stress: An increasing amount of homework and academic pressure from schools and worry over obtaining "perfect" grades can cause a large amount of stress for both adolescents and parents.
