The Abby Lee Dance Company was once a not-for-profit organization, formed 35 years ago to afford promising and dedicated young dancers the opportunity to study with the dance community's most distinguished dance educators and to compete against other talented young people across the country! The Abby Lee Dance Company was the resident competition team of The Maryen Lorrain Dance Studio in Pittsburgh, PA for 30 successful years.
We host open auditions near the end of our season before the annual dance concert and again, during August. All dancers must be enrolled in the complete program for their age/ability level to be eligible for the dance company. Usually competition and special choreography takes place on the weekends.

The Dancer's Den, built for comfort, is a place to dress for class, warm-up and visit with friends. Spacious Ladies Room complete with shower and Separate Men's Room. Broadway Baby's Dancewear and Costume Shoppe is an on-site dancewear store for your convenience. We carry a complete line of dance shoes for all genres of dance, Tights for every emergency, the latest looks in dancewear, and a large supply of Abby Lee Apparel.
You can't miss the brand new ALDC/ LA when you drive down the famous Santa Monica Blvd. Our 10,000 square foot facility sits proudly on the West Side of Los Angeles, conveniently located just three blocks beyond the 405. This highway makes our studio easily accessible to students all over Southern, California.
Miranda Maleski started dancing, when she was 4 years old at the Abby Lee Dance Company in Pittsburgh PA. She moved to LA in 2010 after graduating high school and has since been a top 20 contestant on season 8 of Fox's hit show So You Think You Can Dance. Miranda's other TV appearances include ABC Family's The Fosters, ABC's The Goldbergs, Abby's Ultimate Dance Competition, CW's 'My Crazy Ex Girlfriend', Bunheads and FOX'S Glee.
Though you are allowed to visit the studio, we DO NOT allow watching rehearsals or classes. We do NOT know our schedule of competitions or Master Classes, so again please check the website or sign up for the newsletter. Miss Abby is unable to send personalized autographs, though autographed photos are available on the Shoppe.
