Robert Stone began selling real estate on Boston's North Shore in 1926. Back then, contracts were made by way of a handshake between men. In the early 1960's, Fred Hopkins and Blake Cruckshank used such a handshake to make a promise and become partners to begin endeavors on the South Shore. Hopkins (in photo), was a Mayflower descendant and made his home in Braintree.
He opened offices in Quincy, Braintree, Cape Cod and eventually took over 100% of Robert Stone, Inc. Today, Robert Stone is comprised of some of the most experienced real estate agents in the area.
