I am currently 10 months post abdominoplasty w/ lipo surgery with Dr. Kim & my motto is: this procedure is a problem trade-off where one is better to have than the other. My abdominal fascia & lower abdominal skin were stretched. After years of contemplating reconstruction, I decided to transform this problem area which with age was getting worse in appearance.

After achieving an adult-low weight on the scale, which is nearly 100lbs less than I was at my heaviest in college, through lifestyle/diet/exercise changes, I visited Dr. Kim. I had received a few recommendations from friends and acquaintances familiar with him from the medical field. I can't say enough good things about Dr Kim and his team! I recently had a tummy tuck in July 2018 and I felt so cared for by Dr Kim and the nurses and the anesthesiologists. From the first consultation with Dr Kim, he knew EXACTLY what I wanted even after THREE other doctors told me they couldn't help me! I met Dr Kim after I was diagnosed with breast cancer in October 2015. He did my initial post mastectomy reconstruction with an expander then my reconstruction with implants. He, his nurses, and his staff have been so compassionate and kind during some really emotional and difficult times for me. Dr Kim is very cautious and conservative which made me feel comfortable he would not push for unnecessary procedures or encourage unrealistic expectations. All of my other doctors and medical staff have commented on how well my reconstruction turned out, thanks to him. I highly recommend him.

I found out in 2015 that I am BRCA positive. The process for figuring out next steps to take preventative measures was emotionally grueling, but meeting Dr. Kim and his care team made so many things easier. He asked a question the very first day he met me for a consult which I don't think enough doctors ask: "What kind of life and lifestyle would you like to have?" I contemplated my surgery for over 3 years, as it was not going to be fun due to a Mast Cell Syndrome I have...Any surgery would send my body into a major tizzy-My condition required a truly skilled surgeon, 24 yr old silicone implants ruptured...needed removal including capsules....After searching for months, and visiting a few highly rated surgeons, I chose Dr. Kim.
