Dance studio 111 is a very professional and top notch dance studio in the Ahwatukee area. Miss Kimberly, Miss Elsa, and ALL of the teachers are AMAZING. This is our first year at the studio and I couldn’t be more impressed with how well the studio is keeping our children safe with proper social distancing, cleaning, and temperature checks DAILY during this COVID-19 pandemic. I even seen Miss Kimberly herself mopping the floor the other day. What studio owner does that ??? The studio is very warm and inviting. Everyone is treated fair & equal, no favoritism like other dance studios. Communication

My daughter joined Dance Studio III a year ago and I am very impressed with her dance skills! The instructors are very professional and strongly emphasize technique while making it a fun environment. The owner of the dance school creatively arranged zoom dance classes during the coronavirus stay at home time period to keep the dancers current on their material with their dance teachers. The owner of the studio also did a very fun treat for all of her students to show that she cared and she made ballerina cookies for the girls to do a drive by and pick them up. Since things opened back up, the studio

We have been a part of DS111 for several years. The teachers are highly qualified and really care about the students. The end of the year recital is one of the highest quality performances I have seen. The props are fantastic and everything is done very professionally. There is a wide variety of levels and children are welcome to be a part of everything no matter their level. DS111 has become one of our favorite places to be.

I'm a capoeirista and am visiting for the week so I decided to check out the capoeira. They train at the dance complex on Saturdays only.
The group is large. A mixture of advanced and beginner. The warmup is really good. Very well rounded, however I was a bit frustrated because of the constant water breaks. I don't know though. I come from a school where the only time you hydrate is after the Roda.
They play a lot of sao bento pequeno a fast game. Pretty fun. Nice group.

I have mixed emotions about this school. The teachers are phenomenal and I believe my daughter who was already a trained dancer has learned quite a bit. My issue is with the organization and communication from the administration. My daughter has been signed up for 2 classes for months now and costumes were ordered for both recitals as instructed. Less than a month before recitals we find out the hip hop instructor hasn't been teaching the girls their recital dance because admin didn't tell him they are participating. My daughter had to scramble to learn 5 months of classes in 1 month

This review is specifically for the after school dance at Summit School.
First, the pricing. They charged $355 For Jan-May for a teacher who is a highschool student. My daughter's regular studio charges $58 for an hour class by a professional instructor. Don't get me wrong. The teacher, Ms. Olivia, was wonderful. I just thought if the business owner wanted to charge more she should provide more support to this program. The studio offered $30 discount for early sign up but it was very rushed (email for sign up came Dec. 7 and the deadline for discounted price was Dec. 15th). They required

My experience there was marvelous. I was first a student attending there summer camp as a tween. They have a schedule already set up for you. 3 hours a day. It was challenging, fun, hard work, and over-all a really good dance experience. The teachers are so nice and they push you and you have so much fun here. They have lots of good teachers and you'll have fun. The dancers there are nice as well and the facility is very big and open and spacious. They have classes for everyone and they always make you feel welcome. I loved it here and if I hadn't moved to a different state I would be dancing there

As another reviewer noted the studio has a sense of "organized chaos." While my daughter thought the instruction was good she never felt comfortable there due to the chaotic environment so after several months we took her out of the school. That would have been the end of it but two months later the studio started billing our credit card automatically again. After many attempts where calls went to voicemails (NONE of which were ever returned) I finally got someone on the phone who noted the error and said the charges would be reversed. Well not all the charges were reversed and after more unreturned

There is no secretary and they do not return phone calls when you leave a message. I have actually been standing inside the business and called in an attempt to speak to someone regarding an issue. Walk back to the offices, both doors wide open and lights are on, waited around for 15 minutes and still no one showed up. Organized Chaos. Budget a little extra because the production has some required items that you must purchase. We were informed about Mandatory Photos one week before they were to take place on a Saturday afternoon during soccer season as if the dance studio didn't take in to consideration
