I've been a fan and a patron for years. This place hits all the right notes: recycles old computers; supports good causes; sells reliable gear cheap; offers solid customer service.

I have a low income hotspot with them. It stopped working over a week ago. I find an email in my junk about system changes. I try to call, no response for over a week. Emails, over a week, no response. Thanks Interconnection for my kids failing their classes! Contacted Sprint, the carrier, 2 hours, hang ups, incorrect referrals, can't help you, only Interconnection can bs and my twins are going to lose. This is so unprofessional and horrible in so many ways.

With schools and universities opening up virtually, it's absolutely important for you all to be open physically at a time like this, especially when laptop prices are skyrocketing with high demand. For many, this location is the only place to buy affordable and reliable technology. That's why I just don't understand why Interconnection is choosing to remain closed rather than serving the community in a time of actual need. Interconnection has the ability to open their retail store right now and operate in a safe and healthy manner, yet they are actively choosing not to.

Used to be okay ...they had a cheap hotspot that barely got a signal indoors. Its subsidized by the government and you need to be low income. They moved their store and all. They have some very strange people working instore. As other reviews mentioned they are condescending. They created a billing issue with my service. It continued to deduct from my bank after they cancel my service.
As for the devices they sell, these are mostly used second hand electronics and many could have issues. They treat customers poorly. After reaching out to management I was ignored. I had to take action with my bank

DO NOT BUY ANYTHING from this company. I had previously bought two laptops from them and had a good experience so I bought another one two weeks ago. I charged it all day and then took it off of the charge. It immediately shut down. I have called and emailed several times and attempted contact through Facebook. They responded sporadically with comments like “Let me check into this” or “I will send you a replacement battery and adapter” with no action to follow. I spent $300.00 and only asked to replace the laptop. Now I want my money back.

First off wonder cause!
I'd like to thank their customer service for going over and beyond for me!
They came highly recommended from a friend who owns a small IT firm. Desperately needed to purchase a laptop to WFH. Work didn't have any extras; needed a quality product at a reasonable price!

Had product in my shopping cart, decided to call before placing order to confirm they were handling online orders and shipping timeframe (live in Chicago).

Their service was amazing! Was told deliveries were going out in 20 minutes and the rep went over and beyond to ensure my order was fulfilled

This non profit does great work to bring recycled and refurbished computers and laptops at low and accessible prices loaded with Microsoft 10 Pro along with Windows Office. Desktops with monitor and keyboard and mouse go for as low as $59.99 and laptops as low as $99.99! Amazing service.

This is where DSHS sends you if you are a low-income senior or disabled person with computer needs. So you can get a cheap computer that works okay. You can get your basic computer needs met, have questions answered by generally knowledgeable staff. But don't expect a mini tidbit more than that.

Three young reps sat or stood at the counter and did not move an inch as they watched me struggling to load equipment into/onto my walker, then try to open the door, maneuver the walker one-handed across the high door jamb into the store. What has happened to this new generation??

But what is really

Hello, I purchased a laptop from this fly by night outfit in January of '18. These crooks shouldn't be in business. They told me I damaged my computer which I did nothing of the sort. These guys are classless idiots that shouldn't work with the public. If u chose to buy from these guys make sure u haggle a deal on the crap that they sell u. For sure they will null & void your warranty. Please be careful when buying products from "non-Profits". They are just wolves in Sheeps clothing. Non-profits are supposed to be more above board then a corporation. & these guys

I've been to this place numerous times, bought a number of computers from them too. Stopped by today to replace a broken laptop, was looking, and turning some on. Employee came over and told me I couldn't do that.....turn them on, something to do with licensing. I mentioned that "I've NEVER bought a used car without driving it." And then I said goodbye and left....never to return. I mean the laptops are priced from $79 to over $400. Would you spend $400 on a laptop without trying it? I don't think so.

To sum up my experience, I purchased an A grade computer from this store on 12/19. Even though the store manager informed me the computer was 30% off, a sales associate (Kat) rang up my purchased without the discount. When I asked her about the sale, she rudely asked me "Why would you think the computer was on sale?'. After telling her not only was there signage but also her manager informed me of the sale, she stated she had previously sold two other computers that were not on sale. Even after the manager confirmed the computer was on sale, the sales associate did not offer any form

I went this afternoon to donate several routers, Roku Stick plus, cable modems, 3 WiFi extenders, etc. All the kit was in original boxes in great shape and less than 18 months old. We arrived to the drop off 2.25 hours before they close. Two lads were at the drop off door. We asked them if they took this type equipment. They both rolled their eyes and said I guess. They then started to rant that they had to reopen the door to take the donation. We decided to leave and give the equipment to Goodwill as they are actually grateful. We are discontinuing our corporate donations here as well. I have

I have bought on PC and Mac laptops from them for my QuickBooks set up, review, clean up, and one-on-one training business and they are still running strong.

They offer classes that teach folks how to build their own computer and receive one at the conclusion so I have recommended them to several friends on a budget and who want to learn more about technology.

They recycle computers, printers, monitors, and peripherals. Drop off is easy and the staff is friendly. If you are planning on buying something, drop off a donation first and get a discount coupon.

They need to get it together. Their customer service is a huge detriment to their business and if they don't fix this problem they won't be around long.

The employees at the retail store have a terrible attitude and are completely condescending. (The repair person isn't bad)

You can't leave messages as the voicemail is always full and no one responds to customer support.

My friends and I have bought computers here and they didn't last a year for various reasons. But try and use the warranty and they will find some excuse to not honor it. This happened to all three

I had a good experience getting a mobile hotspot from Interconnection last summer, but I've had a terrible experience since my hotspot, which I depended on as my home internet connection, stopped working three weeks ago. No one at Interconnection will answer my phone calls or emails requesting help restoring data to my hotspot so I can be online again. I've called both staff members in tech support nearly every other day for three weeks, emailed the staff member who helped sell me the device, and spoke to someone in retail who said he'd leave a note for the tech support staff notifying

So I got a laptop from them and the screen broke. So I took it in and they want to replace the hard drive. " The HDMI is completely cracked open and the opposite side is vulnerable as well damage to the frame and the warranty is not a protection one. Fortunately I was conversing with the repair tech and he said that while the computer is completely not covered under the hardware warranty, he could salvage the hard drive and install it into the next pc you buy." So Ya I have to spend money o" something that is not needed at this point oh and hard drive replacement is 80$. With a screw

My review is only for my experience dropping off donations, which was probably more 3 star, but I think it is clear from other reviews that this is a great organization, so I wouldn't want to penalize one aspect of their service for another that was still fine.

Drop off was particularly easy. There is parking and you just drop it on a cart near their loading dock area. They could be a little more involved in receiving their donations on-site. This was my first electronics donation and some items that were not completely wiped due to damage, so I would have liked some reassurance that once

Utter crap, bought a laptop from them so called "refurbished" and bad hard drive crashed within 3 months with all my files on it. Yeah they replaced it with a new computer, but the idiot technician put the said my data was transferred and now IT'S NOT TRANSFERRED IT'S IN SOME STUPID FOLDER THAT THIS COMPUTER CAN'T READ.

I sat it AN HOUR AND A HALF of traffic to get this piece of crap. Utterly ridiculous, my work depends on my laptop and those documents and these idiots couldn't even get a data transfer done correctly.

On this sad, sad morning, my kitten managed to destroy my flat screen TV. (Yes, I kept her. Apparently I love the little terror).

Anyway, this is where I took it to get recycled. They do do repairs at this facility and the guy who accepted it from me confirmed that it was not refurbishable, and it was nice to know for sure instead of wondering if there had been a cheap fix for it. He confirmed that they have green practices and were happy to give me a receipt for tax purposes.

I have an old laptop I haven't decided what to do with, but if I do decide to recycle it, InterConnections is
