Psychological Consultations is a private group practice located in the Lakeview area of Chicago, IL. We have experience providing psychological services to diverse populations, especially the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, and Questioning (LGBTQ) communities, since 1995. Our areas of specialty also include individual, families, couples, and group therapy, as well as cooperative treatment of HIV/AIDS impacted persons.

Psychological Consultations has been providing services since 1995. Our treatment approach is based on the belief in a comprehensive care model, emphasizing the importance of the connection between the mind and the body. We utilize an integrative conceptualization for each client, beginning with an initial review of each client's needs.
Dr. Sarlo is an Illinois Licensed Clinical Psychologist and the Founder, Clinical Director, and Director of Training of Psychological Consultations. A graduate of The Adler School of Professional Psychology, Dr. Sarlo has worked with Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgendered, and Questioning (LGBTQ) communities since 1987.
Psychological Consultations is located in the Lincoln Park/Lakeview area of Chicago, IL. Our office is located on the fourth floor of the Sheffield Square Professional Center. Our office is fully accessible including automatic main doors and elevators. We are conveniently located between two CTA L stops on the Brown Line, Diversey and Wellington.

A. Psychological Consultations accepts most PPO insurance, including Blue Cross Blue Shield, First Health, and Humana. We also work with Medicare. For those insurance plans where we are "In Network, " we will directly bill your provider. We generally do not accept HMO's. If we do not directly accept your insurance plan, we can provide you with a statement, and you can seek reimbursement from them directly.
