My regular nail lady had canceled on me last minute and yesterday was the only day off I'll have in 2 weeks, so I decided to come in and get a mani-pedi with a full set of acrylics. Tanya was an absolute angel! She was so super sweet and was willing to take me even though it was somewhat busy. The salon was also extremely clean, which is always a plus.
Although there were some small errors on my French tips, the final outcome was nice. I needed a short set that was work appropriate and it came out ok.

I really like Avalon. It's very clean, I never have to worry about them using unsterilized tools, they use liners in the foot tubs. The employees are all very nice, and very skilled. I've been going there for about 5 years now and haven't ever had a bad experience.

Been here twice now, first time with an appointment for four people. Several hours before the appointment I got a call asking if I could come a half an hour early. I said sure, called the rest of my friends who could all make it earlier, got there and there is still a 20 to 30 minute wait before we got started. We were still done one at a time. One of my other friends was speaking with her pedicurist who said no, they only wanted me to come early not the whole group as they didn't have enough pedicurist to take us all at the appointment time.. I would give zero stars if I could. called them and scheduled an appointment at 2 and I get there and they say they can't take me for another 30 mins. I have a very busy day ahead but have scheduled getting my nails done into my schedule so I decided to wait. 2:45 rolls around and I ask when I will be getting my nails done. They say 15 minutes with NO APOLOGY. Very disappointed and I ended up leaving with no manicure and 45 minutes of wasted time!!! Time is money and they clearly don't respect that here.

First time back since COVID and it was a HORRIBLE experience. This used to be my go-to place. We booked appointments for three people. They called us same day to ask if we could push our appointment back. We agreed and when we showed up, they still weren't ready for us. They started the first person's appointment 15 minutes late. The second person started 15 minutes later and the 3rd person 45 minutes after our appointment time. They finished the third person first. Why haven't I been here sooner!?!? I'm such a creature of habit when it comes to services. I decided it was time to switch things up since it's been awhile. I'm still sitting in the chair and I'm already blown away! I have some weird build up on the bottom of my feet that 2 other places just ignored. Not here! My gal took a cheese grater to my feet and knocked them out!! My feet already feel a thousand times better! I come here for pedicure every couple months for several years now and had usually just gotten the next available technician until one day I got Jackie and she just had a much more thorough approach and I would make appointments with her. Then the COVID shutdown happened and after they reopened this week I asked if Jackie was working and learned she was no longer there. So I went in and Tanya worked on me doing good work. I will try to find where Jackie went if she is still in the area. When you find someone who does exceptional work you miss it when they are gone. Avalon has plenty of protections

My experience was....long and short at the same time. I was a walk in so when they told me it was a half hour wait for a pedicure I was totally ok with that. The wait was closer to 45 minutes which is still ok. When they finally did get me sat and in a chair the whole experience lasted 20 minutes at most. The man helping me seemed to be in a hurry and sped through the process at lightening speeds so much that he cut my nails unevenly, left one of them completely messed up and did a mediocre polish job. Massage portion? Dont even think about it. I would be ok with this kind of service if the price

I'm really impressed with this place- I'm not sure why they only have 3 stars. This is the only nail salon in Santa Rosa where my gel manicure has lasted over 2 weeks with no chipping multiple mani's in a row! Not to mention, their polish color selection is amazing! Everything is clean and cohesive. I've enjoyed my experiences every time.

They take forever, they're expensive, they talk badly about customers in another language and laugh at them. It wasn't just 2 people... multiple employees, multiple times and the manager laughed along. The nail job was good but I'll never go back just because of their lack of respect and poor customer service!

I went in for a gel fill. They told me I needed a full set and then proceeded to take off all my nails I had on to replace them.
I figured they knew best and if they thought I needed that then okay.
KIM the manager then proceeded to rip off my nails. It hurt so bad. Some of my nails were bleeding. She glued on the new ones and started shaping. I asked for a tapered square shape. Not a full coffin shape but not square. All of my nails were different sizes and shapes. Done

I came here because I have been holding onto a gift card for a pedicure. I don't go to Santa Rosa often to my nails so I have not had a chance to use it. Well come check out time and they tell me "sorry we don't do gift cards anymore "
In California it is illegal for gift cards to expire, yet they refused to take my gift card that was bought from them! I will not be going back!

Oh man... I feel kinda bad having to leave a bad review because Kathy who did my nails was really nice... but to be honest, my nails look terrible.. this was my first time at avalon, i usually go to 7 nail spa, but because my friends were treating me i thought, why not try a new place? I came in with three friends to celebrate my bachelorette and to get mani's and pedi's. We spent well over $170 for all of us and we all left unhappy. My friend told me to go back in to have her fix my nails but honestly, when I'm over it, I'm over it. I didn't even want to go back in! I

I went here to get my toes done the other day. My nails look good and the polish is still on. But other then that I don't have much to say. I wouldn't say they were rude but they just didn't talk to me. They didn't ask how long or short I wanted my toe nails and they didn't ask what shape. Luckily I like my toe nails really short and that's what they ended up doing.
It was 30$ for just my toes. I've gotten better pedicures for less money. The other workers seemed friendly and talking but the person doing mine did not seem interested in any type of conversation

I came in with insanely disgusting nails/nailbeds/cuticles. I hadn't had the time to get my nails done in months. Walk in, they were able to help me almost immediately. A glass of wine while I get a full set done? Yes please! We observed great customer service, Kim did my nails, answered phones, directed customers clearly and smoothly. I was impressed. She listened and was very kind. We talked about kids, (Hers are absolutely lovely; a proud mama for sure! Good job, Kim!) and after my nails were done, a surprise shoulder rub! She has absolutely MAGICAL hands!! Wow! Thank you SO much, Kim!
