Castro Tree Service is a family owned and operated tree service company located in Elgin, IL. We provide affordable tree care services throughout the Fox Valley area. Our attention to detail, extensive knowledge of caring for trees, including proper pruning or removal, as well as striving for complete customer satisfaction, gives our business the chance to build long-lasting relationships with our clients.
The high speed of the wind can cause serious damages to both tree and the surrounding properties. We have the tools and resources readily available to make what was left of the storm an easy clean up. We haul away wood pieces with a wood chipper in order to use the leftover wood as mulch. This offers the alternative to en environmentally conscious decision.
There are many factors to be considered when removing a tree. Trees are an essential part to our well-being and are part of the world around us. However, sometimes trees should be removed if they're diseased, dead, and if they're a hazard to us or our property. Sometimes, some municipalities in the Fox Valley Area do require permits when removing trees.

These guys did a great job when I needed a stump removed. They were prompt, efficient, and quoted me a lower price than any of the other companies I called. There was a bit of an issue squeezing the stump grinder through a narrow space and they handled it really well. Instead of just saying, "we can't do it, sorry!" they worked with us to maneuver the machine through the tight spot and then finished the work. Thanks for job well done!

I contacted them yesterday because I needed a stump removed fairly quickly. They came out within 30 minutes and gave me a great quote. I hired them on the spot. They came back today to remove the stump. Awesome job! Very friendly and professional. I couldn't be happier. I mentioned to a friend that I hired Castro and she said they hired home to trim some trees and they also were delighted with his work!
