RAC Engineering, P.C. (RAC) is a premier Structural Engineering firm founded in 2009 by Robert A. Curtis, PE. Mr. Curtis has over 30 years of experience in all aspects of the Construction and Engineering industry. Unique to the industry, Mr. Curtis began his career in the field on construction sites experiencing the real time application of design initiatives.

Working as a consultant, he acted as Project Manager as well as Design Engineer on numerous projects - providing structural support to architectural teams as well as leading innovative design efforts on special structures. Mr. Curtis also understands, first hand, the expectations and needs of clients because for several years he was the "client" (City Engineer of a large municipality).

I cannot express in words the amount of gratitude we have for Bob Curtis coming out and evaluating the foundation of our new home. He was not only able to give us information about our foundation, but his knowledge, and his confidence in his craft is something you don't see too often in today's day and age. He's truthful, polite, experienced, and overall great to work with.
We look forward to working with him again when we decide to remodel our basement in the future!

Bob did a structural print for a roof a few years ago and did an exceptional job in a very timely manner. He showed up for when he said he would be there and finished his part of the project on time. We were very happy with that project and just called Bob to do another project for us!

Bob provided expert insight and knowledge to my wife and I prior to our purchase of a new home. In addition to patiently walking us through his entire inspection process, Bob also provided recommendations and suggestions to improve and maintain our new home. Bob arrived on time and was professional throughout the entire process.
