Services
Jiu-Jitsu is for everyone. You don't need to be an athlete to practice the art, all it takes is an interest. Practictioners range from kids to seniors, male and female. Our philosophy is simple, emphasizing on technique over brute strength, the ability that any individual is capable of mastering. We encourage our students to train often, as it nourishes the body and mind.
Yes, Jiu Jitsu is a martial art based on using leverage which allows a weaker person to defend themselves against a stronger and heavier opponent. Safety is imperative at our gym, however accidents can happen like in any other activity.
In Jiu Jitsu injuries are usually self inflicted due to the individual performing a technique incorrectly, but our instructors pay close attention and with each repetition the risk declines making Jiu Jitsu an extremely safe sport. The class begins with a warm up which also serves as physical conditioning varying everyday among stretching, strength training, explosion, etc.

I dropped in from out of town while visiting a friend. The head instructor was extremely hospitable and treated me like one of his own. The students treated me just as kind. I couldn't have asked for a better group to train with. Class structure was great, as were the techniques shown, and the rolls. Highly recommended, and I'd gladly call this my home gym if I was in the area. Hope to drop in again in the future.

I've been training quite some time and as far as gym's go if you're looking for quality BJJ in the area you can't go wrong with an Alliance affiliate school or any of the big name teams in BJJ. I'm working out of town from Louisiana so the way I go about searching(if I can get no recommendations from guys I know for the area) for that as to narrow my choices down for which schools will be good one's to visit with legit instruction of a high level is first I find the lineage of the instructor and make sure it is a path I can verify to known names and then look at their list of accomplishments in

If you want to find out what you're made of try BJJ. If you want a fun atmosphere where egos aren't an issue this is the place. It's a very welcoming environment, no matter what level you are. Paul makes beginners or even guests from other academies feel welcomed. Even if you're not looking to compete it's fun and a great work out. The first class is free so what do you have to lose?
