I cannot recommend Blooms by the Box any more. I was planning my sister-in-law's bridal shower and had planned to purchase bulk flowers from a popular wholesale club but waited too long and wasn't able to get the flowers in time. I was scrambling and landed on Blooms by the Box, and ended up extremely happy. Not only was their customer service top notch (called me to discuss needing to switch out a flower if they couldn't get it) but the flowers were very high quality. We ordered $300 worth of flowers. We complied with the instructions regarding re-hydrating the blooms as soon as they came. However 2 of the bunches did not just have wilted leaves that needed rehydrating, the leaves were actually slimy. I sent an email about this, and received a response that we had been refunded $9.80 for the photos of the 3 stems that I had sent. There was no offer to refund for the entire bunches even after I spoke with a rep. I was quite disappointed in general with the quality of the flowers, indeed I think our local grocery store would have been a better choice. I will not

It is a great site if your looking to pay hundreds for lots of greenery and a dozen carnations. Tried using this site since it had so many good reviews for my wedding. When my large box of flowers arrived I was so disappointed. It was so close to the wedding date I was not able to write anything sooner. Save yourself the disappointment and stress and order from somewhere else.

We ordered flowers for my daughter's wedding. They were due to arrive on Thursday but didn't get here until Friday. One set of the flowers were wilted. We did everything suggested to revive them, but it didn't work. I asked for a refund for that portion of the flowers and was told by them that they looked fine and they refused to refund me.

Ordered flowers for DIY wedding centerpieces. Highly recommend this vendor. Website very informative, love the "My boards" feature to select flower combinations. One advice: do not buy ranunculus! It is super fragile, 3 stems came broken (and the company immediately refunded me, take pics), 2 broke as I was handing them, then the stalk is hollow so even inserting them into foam required building a wire cage, so much work and not worth it. I ordered Weds delivery (arrived by 12pm) for a Sat wedding - instead, a Thurs delivery, as they recommend, would probably be better, as the roses were already

Pretty pleased with my first order. I ordered white and lavender roses as well as spray roses and seeded eucalyptus. The seeded eucalyptus was missing from the order and too many roses were sent, but they let me keep the roses (which turned out to be a blessing!) and the sent the eucalyptus the next day. I think these kind of mix ups might be common as the lady on the phone was not surprised. I recommend having delivery 2 days before event (as website says to) in case there is a mix up, they have time to fix it. The spray roses were difficult to prepare, pulling off the outer jackets is time consuming

I was skeptical about ordering flowers online for my daughter's wedding, as I was a florist for 30 years. I had to accept a substitution for the garden roses, but that was all. There was a problem with them shipping with my big order, but a quick chat online with customer service had me shipped another batch of roses the next day. The information on their webpage gave me a good idea of who much I needed to order of different items to fill in bouquets, boutonnieres, and floral decorations.
