Our Office Manager, Pamela, is the friendly face and voice of Florida Medical Psychology Associates, and is dedicated to helping patients at every turn, including arranging appointments, managing payments and/or submitting third party claims (i.e., wth Medicare and Tricare), and communicating important or time sensitive information between patients and their providers, all in a professional, confidential, and compassionate manner.
The first appointment you will have with one of our doctors is called an intake session. During the intake session, the doctor will introduce you to important aspects of the counseling process (such as confidentiality), will ask you relevant background questions to get a sense of your personal and family history, and will then invite you to share what is going on in your life and what you are looking for help with.
