When it comes to disease prevention, immunizations are key. Getting vaccinated protects you and those around you. Our main focus is to help you and your loved ones stay up-to-date on the recommended vaccines. We also offer travel consultations to help you be prepared with any preventative vaccines or medicines you might need for your travels.
Diabetes Self Management Education and Support (DSMES) - Our accredited DSMES course will take you through 10 hours of combined 1on1 and group education to provide you more information about diabetes and how you can create achievable goals to achieve a healthier lifestyle. Buena Vista Drug staff will update your physician with your progress in the classes on a regular basis.
Compounding - We can work with your physician to create custom medications to meet your specific needs. Medication Synchronization - Allow our staff to simplify your life by coordinating all your regular medications to be filled and ready at the same time every month. Less visits to the pharmacy to help free up more time in your busy life.
Insurance, especially Medicare Part D, can be confusing and determining the best plan for you can be very difficult. Whether you are new to Medicare or enrolling for the upcoming year, we provide free consultation services. Always been very helpful when I'm stuck and need something. I dont have health insurance so being able to find something here without a doc visit for sprains and breaks alike helps save me money. Dont have to wait too long when I have a prescription to be filled for the odd cold I cant cure. I'll always use these guys

I've had several issues lately as a long term customer. I've used BV Drug since my return to the valley in 2008. Since that time it has changed hands and the focus of the Pharmacy seems to be more fiscally based rather than hospitality and customer service focused. I understand that as a business the bottom line is always a factor, but it should never supersede taking care of customers as long as you want to remain in business. I've had two occasions where I've had issues between my insurance, the Doctors offices, and BV Drug not communicating effectively between one another. As the patient I have

I have had a nightmare experience using this pharmacy, and would avoid it at all costs. They decide at their own discretion to not fully fill a medication if they don’t have enough, and don’t contact you to make sure that’s okay or if you’d prefer to go to another pharmacy where they can fill your entire order. I was left stranded out of town without enough medication because of this, and was treated in an extremely rude and unprofessional by the young woman who works there. My (our of town) doctor had to cancel all of my prescriptions so that I could have them re-written and get them back

Very friendly and helpful pharmacists/staff. I don't have health insurance so filling prescriptions is always a bit terrifying as I have no idea what I will be be paying for necessary medications. Not only do they help me over the phone and tell me the out of pocket cost so I know what to expect, they also auto enrolled me in a discount program which is amazing and so appreciated. I will always use them over corporate pharmacies as they are excellent and we are so lucky to have them in our small town. Thank you BV Drug!
