I've financed 2 vehicles with them. In both cases they've offered the lowest rates around. My first was a refinance, the second was a new purchase. They made it quick and easy. I had 1 point of contact through the whole purchase and finance process. Gordon was a great help and gave valuable advice for negotiating the lowest possible purchase price on my new vehicle.

First rate service on my auto loan. This was quickly processed with info to me and the dealer. David Contreras was extremely professional and friendly. Always a pleasure to do business with this credit union. On a side note, it is extremely nice to see what used to be the old USAA credit union is still the same professional and first rate operation it used to be!

If I could give no stars I would, take your money elsewhere, you could take your money anywhere else here in San Antonio and you'd be better off. This place only cares about how much money they can get out of you. Also make sure you don't overdraft 2 cents today and 10 cents tomorrow... you'll be out $50. These money hungry tyrants charge $25 the second you overdraft if necessary. Don't bother putting more money into your account to stop that, they take it no matter what. Super shady bank, will never bring my business to them again. Again go ANYWHERE else here in San Antonio

My husband and I have been with this credit union for a combined 45+ years between the two of us, and the service has recently been extremely subpar. New fees (for not using their debit card, which my husband doesn't even have!), no customer service, and unrealistic requirements for simple accounts are making us look elsewhere for our banking needs.
We are moving to a new credit union that actually goes by their values of being a local, trusted, and friendly financial institution. We wish United Texas the best of luck, but not with our hard earned money!

Gordon was so helpful! I had been trying to refinance my car loan with very little luck but he made sure to get it done for me. This is our second auto loan with United Texas. The first time we had an auto loan we were assigned by the car dealership, and didn’t know anything about the bank. Although, we paid off our loan early, we had a good experience, so when we decided to buy another car I knew I wanted to use United Texas again. We started the process about 5 days before we actually bought the car. I don’t think you need that much prep time, but it helped not to be rushed on the day when we went into the dealership to buy the car. The MOST awesome credit union in San Antonio!!!! Customer service is beyond 5 stars!!! Used this 30+ year financial institution for my auto loan.....be sure and ask for Gordon Chin! He was the most knowledgeable employee about my finance options, how to negotiate with the car dealership and did everything in his power to get the lowest interest rate for me.
