Dr. Dean provided the most thorough, accurate eye exam I have ever had, and I have been wearing glasses since I was a child. I've worn glasses since I was 6 years old, and this was probably the most thorough eye exam I've ever received. They absolutely nailed my prescription for astigmatism and myopia and recognized that I'd been having trouble with dry eyes. In the past, I'd told other doctors about my dry eye issues, but they never did anything about it. However, Dr. Admire noticed the signs of dry eyes immediately without me saying a word.
Frame prices feel a bit on the high side (I don't think they had a single frame which would have been fully covered by my $150 insurance allotment) but they really work with you

I don't write to many reviews but the whole time I was there I was treated well and they helped me so much in deciding what frames to go with and I felt bad for making them pull out so many frames and then putting them back in their spots. Dr. Admire was very friendly and really took her time on my eye exam. I'm very impressed with this place and I would most definitely recommend this place to anyone. On vacation this week in San Diego and I was in a pinch! Ran out of contacts and needed a new prescription. This place took care of me within 2 hours of my call. Came in, got my eyes checked, a free pair of contacts, and a big discount on the exam! The doctor was super sweet, very smart, and pretty! Aye! The receptionists rocked! These guys are great. I brought a pair of expensive sunglasses to get prescription lenses added and somehow the frame got cracked - to my knowledge, by no fault of the staff at classical eye - and they were super apologetic and bent over backwards to make it right. Aleasha in particular was supremely helpful and diligent in making sure I knew they would take care of the issue for me. They helped me pick out a good replacement and were very prompt in getting me my prescription sunglasses. All told, the service here is superlative, and when I have prescription needs I'll more than likely come

Wow! Amazingly friendly, efficient & knowledgeable services from Edwin, Chris & Aleasha (in the order of my optometry/eye wear experience). They are moving to a new location over on Towne Centre Drive -- due to ongoing construction/gentrification of their current Costa Verde vicinity -- but that's an easy work around & worth a drive around the block!

I got a great deal on my Tom Ford glasses, and the customer service from Edwin was excellent! I had been searching online for a cheaper price - my original optometrist office quoted me $679 for frames & lenses (I usually get high index lenses otherwise they are too thick -which also usually cost more), but Chris, the general manager, worked on lowering the price and gave me such a great deal!

Looking for new glasses?? Come here, they have a fabulous selection. Only the good designer ones. It's hard finding an optometrist with a good selection, I usually find one or two pairs to choose from. But at The Classical Eye it's hard to make a decision because you'll end up finding so many pairs of glasses that you will fall in love with. Glasses are the most important accessory, for goodness sakes they go on your face.
Staff here are very helpful and polite and have great taste so they can help you choose the perfect pair.

I was looking to pick up contacts and frames and the manager Chris could not of been more amazing to me. Super friendly, knowledgeable and I probably got the best deal I've ever received in my life at an optical place. Gems like this place are hidden away, you just have to find them! Chris and the team at Classical Eye stepped up and did the right thing for me - In spades! Initially the prior team offered to repair my defective Swissflex glasses (broke in the first week), but it meant I’d have to give up my glasses and wait two weeks. That seemed unfair to me, and I registered my disappointment. Initially we were at a stalemate, but then the owner brought in Chris Freeh (sp?) and he starting hammering away at Swissflex. Took him some persistence, but he replaced my glasses with new ones (without me having to give up mine), and then repaired the defective pair as well. THAT’S

I went in for a routine eye exam and used my VSP insurance back in March/April. I didn't realize that the contact lens exam was extra so that was a surprise when I got the bill. However this is not why I'm disgruntled. The prescription for my glasses was so far off. I filled the prescription elsewhere and when I got my glasses I couldn't see properly. The receptionist guy said that it might take a while for my eyes to adjust, as my prescription was so different from my old one and refused to let me see the optometrist. I was looking for some super light frames and finally found them here. The staff was super friendly and helpful and my Swissflex glasses (in custom color!) turned out perfect. Only took three days too, I was very impressed.

Girlfriend recently came here to get her eyeballs checked up on, new glasses and new contacts. She said the staff was grwat, friendly and easy to talk to. Made her feel right at home. No pressure in getting the most expensive glasses.
They called when the glasses were ready and picking them up was a breeze.

Hi, I have never posted a review but this place can't do a very simple tasks. We went to this place to get the bridge of a silhouette eyeglass attached back to the lenses. Instead they broke the right lense of the glasses and offered us to fix it for $200. I would not recommend this store. They don't even know how do very simple repair.
